Jewel Grande was a great experience for our family. The location is great - the beach is very safe and non motorized sports like the sail boat are included. The service is also great everyone working is super kind and helpful. Special shoutout to chef Vishal for catering to our dietary restrictions as a vegetarian. He went above and beyond to make sure we had plenty of delicious food options. Booking excursions from the resort is also very convenient through Jamaica Tours - went snorkeling and to the Dunns river falls. Overall, amazing vacation!

The resort is beautiful. The management is ruining this resort. No hot water for showers in the afternoons/evenings. Not enough bath towels for the resort. Finding a beach seat in the shade is like the hunger games. They sell day passes to the resort even when it's a full occupancy which just made the already overloaded situation worse. We had a 2 bedroom 3 bathroom suite with butler service. The butlers have zero pull to help you. No towels, they can't get you beach seats, they can only make you reservations for dinner. The best part of this resort is the food. It's not like typical all inclusive resort food. It is actually not bad at all. We won't go back, but it's a shame because if it was managed properly this could be a great vacation spot.

Rooms are massive and kept very clean. Housekeeping daily was an added bonus. We had a balcony with an ocean view, very relaxing. I had to give 4 stars because on our last night we waited for over an hour to be seated for dinner. You can only make reservations for dinner if you have a butler. Not all rooms come with a butler, and upon checking, we could not upgrade our room. Dinner reservations should be allowed for all patrons,

This resort was a total disappointment. We had a party of 8 in 3 -2bedroom suites that came with a butler. The rooms were extremely outdated and smelled so bad. My suite was moldy and after the manager came to check it out, he agreed but then proceeded to tell me i would have to spend one more night in the room before they could switch our rooms. After spending the night in the room, i woke up congested with stuffy nose.We spoke to the front desk to get different rooms and we were promised new rooms. After so many hours of waiting, the manager told us they could no longer accommodate us with new rooms even though the resort was practically empty. They agreed that the rooms were bad but nothing they could do about it. Also our butler made us really late dinner reservations even after telling them when we checked in that the time wouldn't work because we have kids in our party. They kept telling us there was nothing that could be done. How difficult is it to change a dinner reservation to an earlier time? Or why would you assume that kids will want to eat dinner at 8:30pm every night? Especially because they made the reservation without talking to us first. What was supposed to be a memorable trip for my grieving family turned into vacation from hell.
We had a kitchen in our suite with zero amenities. No utensils, plates etc. The drinks in our fridge were never restocked.
Food options are extremely limited
The staff are terrible
I would give this resort negative stars if possible. I have been to quite a number of resorts and this is by far my absolute worst experience ever.
Juliet Kerr-Gray and Andrew Bryan are the worst managers in the history of managing anything. They kept repeating our issues to us rather than trying to offer sensible solutions. Spent over 5 hours with these people and nothing got resolved. All we kept hearing was that they "understood". Absolute trash human beings.

Overall our stay was wonderful. The staff were pleasant and helpful. In regard to food, the buffet is a solid go to for meals, or Waves for a fine dining experience. Make sure you book ahead for Pierside and prepare for an entertaining hibachi show on the ocean. I have allergies (dairy and gluten) and there were not any dessert options for me… instead I usually enjoyed fresh fruit. If you have allergies, ask for accommodation and they will assist just be sure to provide them enough time to prepare. Location is super close to Rose Hall Great House. Hop in a taxi and leave the resort, the Hip Strip is 20 min away. Shout out to a few who made our stay really special, Alexia at the Coffee Shop, Daniella at the photo booth, and Dwight and Aubrey at Waves/Crickets. Thank you for everything. 🙏
