I first visited this property a year ago for my birthday and absolutely fell in love. I returned this year with my family but this experience leaves a lot to be desired. Our room, has been without hot water since we arrived on 12/4. There are apparent issues with water and heating as there is no working hot tub and there has not been one our entire stay. My parents in the B building have hot water and water pressure and it’s been insane going to another room just to shower.
My parents have a 2 bedroom butler suite. Their butler Keen, has been awesome. Very accommodating and will do his best to meet your requests.
My first visit I fell in love the food here. I did see a review citing issues with seating/accommodating larger parties, that has been true with this visit. We are a party of 6 plus one high chair and reservations have been horrible. (Also hate that Pier side is closed but that is absolutely out of their control and I look forward to it reopening if we come back.
I’ll give it a solid three stars. I wish there was a working hot tub and we had hot water. But other than that. It has been a good family vacation.

Loved this property! The food and staff are wonderful. Jerk chicken on the beach is a must! Fresh juices at the spa delicious! Only letdown was the over 2x price of all spa services. My monthly spa service is only 75$ Just can't spend 200$ on vacay for a massage. Jewel Grande read the room and lower the prices at spa and it will be busy. The masseuse were walking the property everyday trying to book appointments. Several guests I spoke to said the same thing. So there is your market research -- your welcome! Would have loved a free shuttle to nearest shopping center when it rains. That would have been over the top service.

This is actually one of my preferred hotels, especially in the Montego Bay Area. The hotel is quiet, staff are courteous and very helpful and the banqueting and events team is superb. I love the set up of the place. The food is great. I was a little disappointed that the buffet is not available in the evenings for dinner but it forced me to try the restaurants which I don’t typically do. I had an amazing meal at the international restaurant that is located in the lobby. The bartenders know how to make a mean drink too, if you like it strong. Don’t worry, you can get something that’s not strong too.

Our family recently visited Jewel Grande for the second time. We especially enjoyed the large spacious accommodations in the 2 bedroom suites with the terrific ocean front views. Our butlers (Neo and Paul) were always available to help with any arrangements needed and easy to communicate with. The icing on the cake for our stay was the extraordinary care and hospitality we received. In particular, the chefs Volae and Donald went above and beyond the call of duty to facilitate delicious halal meals for our family. We were absolutely blown away with the attention to detail and care they offered our family throughout our stay. From acquiring halal meat, to the preparation and service, every step was handled exceptionally and with a smile. Thank you again for your hospitality.

This property is definitely a gem, boasting beautiful features and a lovely ambiance, but let's be real—it’s not exactly a wheelchair-friendly paradise. With limited access points and a few tricky spots, navigating can feel like an obstacle course rather than a leisurely stroll. However, with a bit of creativity and some helpful assistance, you can still enjoy what this place has to offer. It’s worth a visit, but just be prepared to tackle a few challenges along the way!
