This is actually one of my preferred hotels, especially in the Montego Bay Area. The hotel is quiet, staff are courteous and very helpful and the banqueting and events team is superb. I love the set up of the place. The food is great. I was a little disappointed that the buffet is not available in the evenings for dinner but it forced me to try the restaurants which I don’t typically do. I had an amazing meal at the international restaurant that is located in the lobby. The bartenders know how to make a mean drink too, if you like it strong. Don’t worry, you can get something that’s not strong too.

This property is definitely a gem, boasting beautiful features and a lovely ambiance, but let's be real—it’s not exactly a wheelchair-friendly paradise. With limited access points and a few tricky spots, navigating can feel like an obstacle course rather than a leisurely stroll. However, with a bit of creativity and some helpful assistance, you can still enjoy what this place has to offer. It’s worth a visit, but just be prepared to tackle a few challenges along the way!

Check-In Process:
Entrance is poorly lit, very dark.
Arrived for check-in at 2 PM; informed that the room wasn't ready (understandable as check-in is at 4 PM).
Front desk staff indicated that the two-bed beachfront room we booked was unavailable due to a water issue.
Offered a supposedly "upgraded" room on the 8th floor, which overlooked a noisy main road and party scene, rather than the beach.
Even after not providing the room we booked, we received our room at 4:45 PM.
Front desk staff were indifferent, showing no concern for our tiredness or the kids; their attitude was unprofessional, as they merely stated, "We’ll let you know when it’s ready."
Returned at 4 PM to complete check-in; given a key but instructed to return for the room number.
Confusing key programming process; staff was rude and unprofessional, offering no options for room selection.
Room Condition:
Room was outdated and poorly maintained.
Noisy fans; air conditioning took a long time to cool the room.
8th-floor area was dirty, dusty, and lacked cleanliness.
Elevator was slow and unsettling.
Restaurant Experience:
No information provided about restaurant hours or reservations; had to figure it out on our own.
Limited dining options; lunch buffet was the primary choice.
Breakfast was decent; lunch was good.
For dinner, told reservations weren't needed, but upon arrival, we were asked to wait or make a reservation.
Even with a reservation the next day, had to wait an hour for a table.
Unprofessional staff; servers were unfriendly and unwelcoming.

Bar Experience:
Lobby bar was decent; poolside bar was less attentive.
Service at the pool bar felt indifferent.

Walking back to the room from dinner was challenging due to poor lighting in the walking areas, making it dark and unsafe.
The resort felt empty and lacked a vibrant atmosphere.
Overall:
Did not enjoy our stay.
Will not return.

Excellent ocean view from room! Couldn’t ask for a better please to wake up and watch the sunrise every morning. There’s a strip of beach (mostly for relaxing on the sand) and two pools (one with fun activities and one for quiet relaxation). If you have kids, take advantage of the Kids Play amenities - they watch your kids and do fun activities with them so you can go do adult things :) Overall, a good stay.

The resort is mostly nice. I would say 4 star not 5. The service is somewhat inconsistent, it really needs on who you get. We had a villa and was assigned a butler. I don't feel it was an added benefit . We did most of the leg work for our activities. We also had to leave the resort to enjoy the beaches.
