The experience was like no other. The food was very high quality! The service was impeccable, everyone was nice and ready to offer any assistance. The rooms and hallways had great air conditioning too despite the real hot weather conditions. Honestly there’s nothing i can think of that needs any improvement. You can tell that Hyatt is dedicated to ensure the highest quality of resort experience. You will not regret it.

This place was a big disappointment. I've been to over 20 all-inclusive Caribbean resorts (5 in Jamaica) and this one was the worst.
The good stuff... Staff was mostly nice. Service wasn't over-the-top, but typical for what I have experienced in Jamaica before. There were a few staff that clearly could care less about being there. Food was generally good enough. I've had better at all-inclusives, but I've also had worse. A la cart restaurants were pretty good, but the buffet could have been better. Location was convenient to the airport and had a nice beach. Guest rooms were clean and comfortable, but just a very standard hotel room with nothing fancy.
The rest... General maintenance around the hotel was really bad. Outside of the actual guest rooms, you can tell that Hyatt puts almost no money into maintenance. The hotel is due for a major renovation and I guess Hyatt is just milking it until nobody will stay there anymore. Lots of pictures attached for evidence. I guess it rains a lot in November (which they obviously can't help), but the buildings are not equipped for it. Water was pouring in from the ceilings when it rained and they had to put sand bags around the doors to keep it out. The lower floor hallway was soaked and they had to have fans running on it the entire week we were there... smelled horrible. Mid-way through our week, they actually had to shut the water off to the hotel and blamed it on a water main break that they had to work on. You can visibly see the roof falling apart all around the hotel. Otherwise, lots of broken toilets and sinks all around the resort.
One other complaint I have is they don't have enough towels. A resort based around a beach and a pool, should have a ton of towels available for the guests. They seemed to run out every day by lunch.
Overall, the maintenance issues killed the experience for us. Would not recommend this one and we won't be going back. It's time for Hyatt to shut this one down and renovate.

Great property and amazing staff made our Thanksgiving week trip amazing. Parts of the hotel are in need a some repair, but overall, it was very nice. 1st, the food. We do 1-2 Caribbean trips each year and never stay at the same place....but we may return to this one. This hotel's buffet was by far the best! Plenty of options that would satisfy most people. Was it 5 star dining? No, but it was great, especially for the quantity needed. Specialty restaurants were good too. For the drinkers who read this, they serve fairly descent brands (not quite top, but definitely upper shelf) that werent watered down. That too was 100% ok in my book. Only downfall was the club level room. The only benefit is being on the top floor. Yup, the only. Overall, this property was great and thank you Hyatt Ziva for the awesome experience.

Hands down the best resort I've ever stayed. The staff were amazing, courteous, and polite. Accomadations were superb. The restaurants, especially the Asian one was great! Pool bartenders and staff were a pleasure and entertaining. I will definitely return.

Spent a week with three families, 6 teen kids ages 12 to 17, our second time at this resort. We were there for the New Year’s Eve celebration. A very reasonable drive from the airport, we booked Best Jamaica ground transportation in advance. We had a king suite, highly recommend. Two bathrooms, large bedroom with doors and an en suite with bathtub and shower, and a living room with a sofa bed that was spacious and two large balconies one facing the ocean one facing the resort. That room came with Butler service, which was very helpful getting dinner reservations, bringing drinks to the beach, Sending info on daily resort activities, daily fruit and cheese plates.
The resort itself is lovely, soft sand, beach and poolside dining at Calypso, all meals buffet at choicez. We really enjoyed all the restaurants, Italian, French, and Asian. There is also a sports bar with a pool table, a dessert place, a very good coffee shop with sandwiches and fruit snacks, thankfully, equipped gym that I actually went to three times, two spas one by the lobby and one at the beach with a cold plunge, sauna, and a beautiful bar with a red piano and live music many nights, obsessed with the jazz pianist.
New Year’s Eve was really fun, but unfortunately, the resort made the decision to sell expensive tickets instead of seating just being available like it was two years ago, which we didn’t appreciate. Other evenings, there were good shows, Bob Marley band, Caribbean dance show, beach party at Zalara. The resort was at full capacity during the holidays, and yet it didn’t seem overly crowded.
We went out sailing on hobie cats every day, we snorkelled every day with the cute fish along the breakwater, we did water Zumba most days, and morning yoga. We even did tennis, pool volleyball and pickle ball. The weather was perfect, of course, and all the staff are very skilled and good at their jobs and friendly and helpful. I really hope they make a living wage, but I tipped everyone generously all week just in case, From the omelet chef to the bartenders to the massage therapists, to the housekeeping to the waitresses and waiters, to the sailors. I especially made sure to tip the dinner servers generously because of our large tables, they were working hard, tipping at least $40 per meal.
We brought snorkels with us. The food was very good. overall had a fantastic time, highly recommend. Very reasonable flight to Canada, four hours. Ready to face winter.
