We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown! The design of the hotel is stunning, with creative and unusual elements that make the room feel truly special. The huge windows let in plenty of daylight and offer breathtaking views of the canal and Dubai skyline, both day and night. It’s an amazing experience for couples—though it’s a city hotel, it has a uniquely romantic atmosphere.
The bathroom is beautifully designed, and the bed is large and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
However, there were a few areas that fell short. The food was just okay, nothing exceptional, and we noticed a lack of bathrobes and a coffee machine in the room. Some of the towels were also quite worn out.
One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of recognition for IHG Platinum Elite status. Having spent 45,000 points on this stay—equivalent to the price range of an InterContinental hotel—we expected at least some acknowledgment, but there were no benefits, no mention of status, and no questions about preferences for amenities.
Additionally, at one of the hotel’s outlets, I wanted to charge dinner to my room so it would be eligible for points based on my spending. The hostess assured me that I would earn points regardless, but I later found out that I earned far fewer points than I would have if I had charged it to my room. This misinformation left me feeling not only unrecognized as an elite member but also shortchanged on what should have been a straightforward loyalty perk.
Despite these drawbacks, the hotel itself is beautifully designed with a great atmosphere. If you’re looking for a stylish and unique stay in Dubai, it’s still worth considering—but elite members should manage expectations regarding loyalty perks and ensure they understand the best way to earn points.

I stayed in the hotel for 7 days with my good friend. We had a very enjoyable experience here. The hotel is very well run and very clean. We spent a few morning and evenings at the outside bar by the pool. Faisal, Mathias, Ned and Bishinu are very courteous and very friendly. We became friends with them as they are so nice to be around. They couldn’t do enough for us as with all the other hotel staff. The hotel is in a great location for sightseeing and hotel pick up excursions.
We highly recommend it here.

Super nice hotel downtown Dubai. We stayed a week and enjoyed the hotel very much. The service was excellent. Only minus is the pool is shaded from noon and on and it became a bit crowded the few seats they had in the sun.
They have a shuttle to Kite Beach which was great. Just wish it was a bit bigger and ran more often. Kite Beach was great for swimming and tanning. The hotel is located downtown and you can walk to Dubai Mall in 10-15 minutes. Very central.
We had half board at the hotel and the food and service was great. The same menu for the whole week to choose from though so tried almost everything and wish they had bigger variety. The breakfast buffet is very good and you can order your coffee and eggs on the side
The rooms were super clean and very nice. Cleaning spotless. The beds were so comfortable.
In the reception we have to mention Gapga, very sweet and helpful. Made our stay even better. Thank you for a great stay.

The reception staff are wonderful, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The bed is large and comfortable. The view over the city is magnificent, with large windows. The pool is lovely. Breakfast is superb, with a vast selection of food and drink. Eating at the restaurant in the evening is very expensive, with a beer being an exorbitant price! Taxis struggled to get to the address, especially during rush hour traffic. Overall it is a lovely hotel to stay at.

I stay I recommend.
Rooms are spacious with a new design, colorful and useful. Breakfast is incredible with very divers courses all tasty. Pool is also very well designed and modern.. you can plan without issue on staying the whole day around to enjoy the sun.
People are kids friendly, and remember you service is excellent.
In the entrance of the hotel, there was an art exposition during which I bought a painting I still have hanging in my home.
