Amazing Stay at Huvafen Fushi Resort! 🌴 Our stay at Huvafen Fushi was absolutely wonderful. The resort itself is stunning — beautiful villas, crystal-clear water, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. All the staff members were incredibly kind and attentive, making our experience even more special. The food at all the restaurants, Celsius & Salt, was delicious — every meal felt like a treat! We also loved the daily morning yoga sessions and the sunset fishing trip, both of which became highlights of our stay. Snorkeling around the island was unforgettable — we got to see turtles, harmless reef sharks, and we were even lucky enough to spot a large ray! A huge thank you to Nihan, Claire, Adam, Amill, and our amazing yoga instructor for making our trip so memorable. Our family stayed at Huvafen Fushi last week. First of all, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to our Thakuru, Soppe. He understood and carried out all our requests with great care, and was especially kind to my six-year-old daughter. Like many girls her age, she is quite shy and takes time to warm up to new people, but thanks to Soppe, she was able to settle into the resort perfectly and have a wonderful time. This was our second visit to the Maldives, and based on our personal experience, Huvafen Fushi was far better in many aspects compared to the resort we stayed at before. The food at CELSIUS, the restaurant where breakfast is served, was especially delicious. The underwater environment was clean and we were able to see sharks quite often, which was exciting. There were a few minor downsides, but the positives far outweighed them. Coming back to my daughter — when we decided on a vacation in the Maldives, our biggest concern was that she might get bored. However, Soppe introduced us to the kids’ activities, and they turned out to be absolutely fantastic. My daughter especially loved kids’ yoga (I can’t recall the instructor’s name, but she was incredibly kind and affectionate toward my daughter), and my daughter enjoyed all the other activities as well. What could have been just a simple vacation filled with swimming and beach time became a much more memorable and enriching experience, thanks to the wonderful kids’ program. Since we had a morning flight on our last day, we had to leave the resort at dawn. We already knew that CELSIUS restaurant wouldn’t be open that early, so we planned to have breakfast at the airport instead. However, to our surprise, the resort kindly provided us with a complimentary in-room breakfast service before our departure. That thoughtful gesture truly moved us deeply. We were so grateful for how the staff took care of our family with dedication until the very end. If we ever travel to the Maldives again, our family will definitely choose Huvafen Fushi once more.

Had the most wonderful family trip at Huvafen fushi. The property is wonderful and the staff is so warm and friendly. I cannot thank Samaah enough for taking such good care of us, no request was too much and everything we asked for was met with a ‘certainly’ ! We visited to celebrate my mum’s birthday and we couldn’t have made a better selection. The reef is accessible from the beach and we even saw a bunch of sharks! We did the underwater spa and that was superb too.

Stayed here for only 1 night. The island is extremely beautiful, room is also exceptional. Our room attendant Ikram and the staff at breakfast were really caring and provided great service. This unfortunately is where the great service ends. For starters the slippers and sandals they provide in the room are clearly used. I don't think I ever seen this in a luxury hotel before, completely unacceptable. I mean how hard is it to provide new slippers. When we first arrived and were being driven to our villa when another staff member actually hit our cart with their own, never expected to get into a "car" accident on an island haha. No big deal as impact was very minor but still really took me by surprise. Then 2 other customers who flagged down our cart were walking and asked our driver if they can get a lift to their vila, the butler/driver was hesitant, this is where I was like we got 2 extra seats of course they can join us, so they were allowed to get on and join us. We are Hilton Diamond members and our return flight was at 9pm, I had asked for late check out weeks before arriving and was told no problem depending on availability. When we arrived we were told the resort was 50-60% occupied. Around 8 or 9 PM we got a message from our butler that we needed to vacate the room at 11 am and they had 2 options for the return boat one at 6 pm the other was I believe at noon. Since our flight was at 9 PM we said we will do the 6PM boat. Our Buttler said that we still had to leave the room at 11 and wait in their library and again as diamond members we are supposed to have 4 pm check out if the resort isn't full which it clearly wasn't. In the morning we got a letter saying our check out was at 5:30 but it didn't match what our butler told us, so at breakfast we asked to speak to the GM who confirmed our check out time at 5:30 for the 6 PM boat. Great news just wish they would have honored this without the drama and I can't control when their boat departs. The last issue was at departure, like I said earlier I liked our room attendant Ikram and left his a good tip on the bed. When the staff arrived to get our bags I informed them that I had a laptop in my bag and to be careful with it. A crew of 4 people then went into the room to "get our bags" when we only had 2 large and 2 small bags. We were put into a separate cart and wanted to drive off, I asked them to stop so I can see my bags being loaded and to make sure my bag with my laptop isn't damaged and they weren't happy when I asked them not to go into the room and I would roll out the bags myself. Even though I rolled out the bags myself the 3/4 people still went into the room and I am pretty sure they did so to take the tip I left for our room attendant although I obviously can't prove that, it just really upset me.

Juma, Saylei, Muja, Bella, Dyan, Noel, Soppe, Shamil, Alina, and many others made staying at Huvafen Fushi an absolutely incredible experience. I had never been to the Maldives and was solo traveling, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was always comfortable. From the moment I arrived at the airport, I was taken to an air-conditioned space to wait a few minutes for my boat transfer. From that moment on, I never had to carry a bag. Everything was wheeled to the boat, loaded, unloaded, and sent to my room. Fresh, chilled coconut water was served immediately once onboard the luxurious boat, and staff with wet hand towels and champagne were on the dock when I arrived. I could go on and on about the special moments created during my stay. The quality of the food in the full-board package was great. The underwater massage was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I went snorkeling three times a day and took full advantage of the float pool. I found the amenities so enjoyable that I was rarely in my beautiful underwater bungalow during the day. However, it was STUNNING and I felt as though I was living in a dream. Thank you so much to everyone at Huvafen Fushi for giving me a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
