We really enjoyed our weekend stay in June this year. The rooms were spacious, clean, and overall welcoming. Some family members stayed at a nearby hotel, and our rooms were twice the size of theirs. We were traveling with a toddler, and despite the location, the room was quiet. I would definitely book again if I return to town.

The service was very friendly and accommodating. We're grateful for their abundant bottles of "welcome water." Room perks include a blackout shade, mini cooler for drinks, adjustable lighting switches, big TV etc. The noise level is pretty low here. The bed was pretty hard. Don't be silly like me and get fooled into thinking their wall and water breakfast buffet is complimentary. It was $20 each but honestly a great buffet with hot and cold options. They just need to make it more clear that it's not free because I didn't see that anywhere.

We stayed at the Hyatt Centric Wall Street and really liked the location. Easy walking distance to Pier 17, the Staten Island Ferry, Battery Park, and everything else in FiDi. Super convenient base for exploring the area. The hotel was clean and quiet, and our suite worked really well for us, especially with a baby. They provided a crib, and the extra space made a big difference. Our corner room had great natural light and views, and the automatic blinds were a nice feature. Check-in was quick and easy. We didn’t see much going on at the bar, but it was there if you wanted it. The cleaning staff was also very accommodating. Helped us out a few times and were always friendly. Rooms were a bit of a mix, modern in some ways, a little dated in others but overall comfortable and functional. For the price, it was a great value. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Was a little nervous about this place because of the reviews. But it was completely and 100% great. Room was clean, big, and comfortable. AC works as of June 13. We didn’t eat or drink at the bar but the room was awesome. Maybe not 5 full stars but definitely at least 4.5. Everything was great, and we were able to check in at 2 AM due to a delayed train with no issues.

I enjoyed my stay here overall. The only issue I had was with the destination fee, which was eventually refunded. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was the rooftop deck, but it’s no longer available — that was a bit disappointing. That said, I typically book exclusively with Hyatt, so I was going to stay here regardless. One thing that struck me as odd: the bar isn’t open on weekends. When I stay at hotels, I usually treat the incidental fee as a kind of prepayment for bar access, but that wasn’t possible here. Fortunately, right across the street is the Continental Hotel from John Wick. They’ve got a happy hour from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM — great food, solid drinks, and a bit of a sports bar vibe. It was pretty cool.
