Pros: great staff, HUGE rooms, plenty of space, beautiful decor and art, automated blackout shades and lights, LOVED IT! THIS LOCATION IS AMAZING, great sense of community, walkability to so many good restaurants and things to do, felt very safe. loved the discounted parking next door, as well.
Cons: The bed felt similar to a futon mattress. Like a sack of flour. Was very uncomfortable. Our largest complaint is that the shower is open to the room (clear glass door) with no privacy. Highly recommend only staying with someone who you want to see shower, otherwise, you'd have to leave the room. At least the toilet room door is etched glass. We did not have a mini fridge which we'd have liked. We asked for an ice bucket (but it had no lid/ more like a bottle service bar bucket) so the ice melted quickly.
Overall, we recommend this hotel!!

This location is great, close to everything. Easy to walk by the river, restaurants, bars, subway, etc. The hotel is very nice, with a lobby, and the service is very friendly. My only issue was with the toiletries that they provided in the room. I rented a king-size bed. The room is beautiful and the space was very large. The foyer, bathroom, and shower area are all beautiful. They provide you with the most minimal of soap bars, cups, no napkins, no lotion, no mouthwash, and toothpaste/brush. There is no coffee in the room, no slippers, rug for the bathroom. For $500 a night, I think some basics such as these would be helpful to the guest. Other than that I was very happy with my stay!

I recently stayed at this Hyatt location for 5 nights, expecting a 5-star experience, and I was extremely disappointed from start to finish. For starters, the cleanliness was unacceptable. The sink splashed water everywhere due to its poor design, the tiles in the shower were filthy, and there was noticeable dust on the napkin holder. Not something you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber.
Beyond the cleanliness issues, the service was even worse. I requested water to be brought to my room, and it took over 3 hours for them to bring me just one bottle. This level of service is beyond disappointing, especially for a hotel that claims to be luxurious.
The provided soap, "BeeKind," felt cheap and embarrassing for a Hyatt. Also, there were no umbrellas available for guests—something even a motel manages to provide.
To top it off, when I spoke to management, I didn’t receive a single apology for the issues I raised. I expressed my dissatisfaction, but it felt like my concerns were brushed off. For a brand that markets itself as a 5-star experience, this Hyatt barely qualifies as a 3-star motel.
This place should legally not be advertising itself as a 5-star hotel. At best, it’s a 3-star establishment, and that’s being generous.
If you're expecting luxury, good service, or even basic amenities like cleanliness and attentive staff, look elsewhere. This hotel does not live up to its reputation.

So apparently each room doesn't have their own choice in AC or heat. I am staying here in the beginning of November where the high today was around 85. They choose whether the hotel will have AC or heat and because it is November, they chose heat, no matter how hot it is outside. My room is seriously HOT and there isn't a way to turn on AC because the whole hotel is on 1 setting. Um 5 stars?!? Are you effing kidding me?! I will not be sleeping for 5 days because I cannot sleep in this heat and without AC. Like I go to 3rd world countries that know they have to provide AC in a nice hotel. I never thought in America I would have to call a hotel before booking to ask if they have central AC. Are you freaking kidding me?! Also I've been waiting for about 2 hours for a fan now, after I had my sister who's in the same hotel ask to bring a fan to my room about 6 hours ago. I'm still baffled that there's no AC in this hotel!!!

Superb experience at the Hyatt Centric Wall Street. I received an incredible suite upgrade as a Globalist and the experience was phenomenal. Service at the hotel was seamless and always helpful. I loved the electronic blackout shades! The rooms are huge and the high ceilings give such a pleasant, loft-like feeling. The bathroom is beautiful with an excellent tub and shower room. I can’t wait to return!
