Wonderful hotel! Clean, exceptionally friendly staff, knowledgeable and helpful. The location is perfect to Times Square and Rock Center! Also check in is at 3 but our ride arrived a couple hours early and they were very accommodating.
Asnae cleaned and restocked the room to perfection every day. And the two times we had room service, Rich M came up promptly and asked if he could enter to set the tray down, something I appreciated as I was traveling as a single woman with her daughter.
Definitely will stay there again!

This is a comfortable and nice stay in the midst of bustling Times Square. We had a good time and feel good staying here.
This may not be as good as other InterContinentals that I have experienced. There are some minor things in the room that is negligible but could be improved.
- mirror is only available in the bathroom.
- Room furniture is quite aged and need a little maintenance like the lower drawers stuck with the top drawers etc. but usable.
- 2 telephones in the room, one is plugged and one is not, more like it is there to decorate the room. Maybe it should be removed instead.
- housekeeping service forgot the number of bath towels needed and we need to make extra request daily.
- reception staff, concierge are not the friendliest. They are here to do their job and they did well. just that you would not feel they are doing an exceptional service.
The location is great, the room is nice(with overlook-able issues) and comfortable, if you are here for holiday and don’t mind the loud noise and a lot of people :)

My stay at the Intercontinental Hotel Times Square has been a thoroughly disappointing experience. If it weren’t for the fact that I prepaid for my stay and switching hotels would be an inconvenience, I would have left immediately.
The majority of the front desk staff (with one exception) have been consistently rude and unprofessional. At one point, an employee addressed me dismissively, saying, “I already told you, lady,” instead of using my last name—a basic level of respect and professionalism I expected.
The issues didn’t stop there. During breakfast, while my party was still eating, the staff abruptly turned off the lights without warning, leaving us feeling rushed and unwelcome. Such behavior is unacceptable and indicative of poor training and a lack of regard for guest experience.
While the manager has made an effort to apologize and address the situation, the unprofessional conduct of the staff has overshadowed any attempt at resolution. This stay has been far below the standards I associate with the Intercontinental brand, and I will not be returning.
I cannot recommend the Intercontinental Hotel Times Square to anyone seeking a professional, respectful, or enjoyable stay in New York City.

Overall the room was decent, but not a 4 star experience like advertised. Our bathroom had so much active mold growing. (See pictures below) the shower head had active mold growing and hasn’t been cleaned ever. All of the grout has active mold growing. Each handle to grab on to has mold growing on it. The bed was comfortable and wasn’t too much noise pollution from the street below. Check in service was good they said rooms would be available by 3:00pm instead of 4:00normal check in.

Great location in the middle of or near many things, obviously not the least of which being Times Square. The rooms and beds were nice. Bathroom was nice but definitely could have used a fan. The way the amenity fees work out is frustrating, doesn’t make sense to me as to why they’re not just lumped into the entire cost of the stay. I’d stay here again though bc it was clean and reliable, despite our window and drapes being open and sucked out into the wind when we first walked in the room.
