Review for Intercontinental Times Square, New York The Intercontinental Times Square is all about the location. It’s perfect for anyone wanting to catch Broadway shows—just a short walk away—and the dining options nearby are incredible. Within a block or two, you’ll find Turkish, Italian, French, Thai, and more. No matter what you’re craving, it’s right at your doorstep. The rooms are solid: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. However, the pillows were a bit of a downside—not awful, but not great either. If you’re picky about your sleep setup, it might be worth noting. As for the staff, it was a mixed bag. The manager was nice and helpful, but the rest of the team varied in friendliness depending on who was on shift. Not bad overall, but don’t expect consistently warm service. All in all, the location and convenience make this a great option for a New York stay, especially if you’re here for Broadway and good food. Just keep your pillow expectations modest!

Only issue with the room was the HVAC not working properly. It ruined the stay to be honest. Otherwise the hotel was really nice. Restaurant/ breakfast was fantastic. Good evening bar service. Super convenient location, especially with the subway station just next to the front entrance. Getting in and out of times square area via car was a pain though. Some really good restaurants within short walking distance. Would prefer staying in another part of the city next time but that's not the fault of the hotel. If this location is what you seek, this hotel is a great option.

Wonderful hotel! Clean, exceptionally friendly staff, knowledgeable and helpful. The location is perfect to Times Square and Rock Center! Also check in is at 3 but our ride arrived a couple hours early and they were very accommodating. Asnae cleaned and restocked the room to perfection every day. And the two times we had room service, Rich M came up promptly and asked if he could enter to set the tray down, something I appreciated as I was traveling as a single woman with her daughter. Definitely will stay there again!

I would highly recommend not staying at this hotel. There are much better options. Our room wasn’t very clean, there was residue left all over the surfaces of the room, and half of the outlets didn’t work. The cafe and kitchen staff were rude and unhelpful except for one, and asking them anything seemed like it was a huge task for them. Additionally, the entire hotel REEKED of cheeseburgers and fast food from the restaurants below, and our floor smelled horribly of old, rotten food that was left out in the hallway and not being picked up by room service staff. Lastly, we paid a lot of money, A LOT, for the New Year’s Eve party and it was embarrassingly awful. Cheap dollar store decorations, maybe 2-3 trays circling around of microwaved dry food, and limited weak cocktails. I’m really hoping I can get refunded for just the party. I expected better of IC hotels. I won’t be staying at them again.
