Overall a nice resort. We started on the "Waves" side, Junior suite ocean view.
Nice property, very nice and friendly staff. Tons of restaurants and activities
The reason for the 3 stars is this. The building is old. Our room had a miniature/moldy smell in the room.
The room is old. The bathroom has several noticeable patch work with caulking wiped on the surface of the tile.
It seems a lot of the water migration is from the shower. The shower is not enclosed, it is not a wet bath, but with indoor on the shower stall, one can see how the rest of the bathroom could get soaked. The lower portion of the door has visible signs of water damage.
This is my view, based on my experience.
The food selection of this resort is fantastic. A large buffet with several specialty restaurants, Japanese, Greek, a Smoke House, and others. There is even an ice cream shop on the property.
The beach and pools are very good. They also have water sports available for those who are adventurous.
The view from the balcony is great. It overlooks the beach and a terrific view of the ocean.
I think I would go back. I see they are making repairs to several rooms, so at another time, the room experience could be better.

The resort staff were all amazing. There was always a smile, a greeting, and a “Are you okay, and is there anything you need, from ever staff person we came in contact with. I do have to say that Concrete, and Big Wayne, from the entertainment team, were the greatest!!! Whenever we saw them they would say high, and let us know of activities that were going on around the resort. I saw many guests going out of their ways to say high to Concrete, and Big Wayne. The two of them just have a way of making people feel welcome.

We were there from 19-29 Nov 24 and had a great time. The hotel is in a great location less than 1/2 hr from the airport. Ground transportation provided by the Club was appreciated. The check in at the Club reception was great, thank you to all. This is where we met Kerry who assisted us throughout our stay with anything that we needed, Great job Kerry, see you next time. Susana, thank you for always making sure our wine arrived, and fixing the mistake with the Japanese restaurant.
The food and drinks were great. A few shout outs to Jevon who we met at the sports bar. A very friendly bartender, who we got to know very well. Next time we are there we will play “Five Crowns” with you!!
Secondly, Damion at the omelette grill in the buffet, best omelettes ever. It was a pleasure to get to know you. We all hope your daughter gets well.
All the bar staff in the beach Club area, a great job by all. You always made sure the beds were clean and dry, towels were always ready and the drinks flowed!
We were also very lucky to have a great cleaning staff in our room. Always well looked after.
There are so many more staff that truly made our stay great!
The one issue that did detract from our stay was the renovation that was going on close to our room. Most of it we could deal with but the jackhammer on the last two days was too much. Maybe being more aware of the renovation schedule you should not have had guests stay in that wing of the hotel. That being said I can imagine the renovation will be completed for our next stay.
Thank you, see you next trip.

Concrete from the entertainment team she is a real boss! So energetic, so friendly & such an amazing dancer!!! Fresh is such a good guy, love his vibe & always keeping everyone upbeat! The Rose hall hotel is a great holiday village all of the amenities, beautiful landscape & superior rooms. Would 100% recommend a stay here and all of the team are impeccable👌🏽

I recently booked a three-day stay at this resort as a quick getaway to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Based on the online reviews, I decided to give it a try, hoping for a memorable and relaxing experience. Unfortunately, my stay has been anything but enjoyable.
The experience started off on a positive note. Upon arrival, the front desk staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, which initially reassured me that I had made a good choice. However, the issues began the moment I entered our room. The air was filled with an overpowering smell of chemicals or paint, which immediately triggered an asthma attack. I had to use my emergency inhaler to stabilize my breathing—a distressing start to what was supposed to be a relaxing trip.
I promptly called the front desk to report the issue. A gentleman answered the phone but didn’t speak a single word—not even to ask me to hold—leaving me frustrated and confused. Since I received no assistance over the phone, I decided to walk down to the front desk to address the issue in person.
When I explained the situation, I was met with indifference. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the severity of what had occurred. While they did move us to another room, it felt like a downgrade rather than a resolution. The original room I booked offered a view of the pool and ocean from the fourth floor, which was one of the reasons I chose this resort. The new room, however, faced a wall—completely diminishing the experience and failing to meet the expectations set by my reservation.
What’s most disappointing is the lack of empathy and effort to provide an adequate solution. No one took responsibility or made any attempt to compensate for the inconvenience, the health risk, or the overall dissatisfaction. This situation could have been handled with much more professionalism and care, which would have left me with a better impression of the resort.
This was meant to be a special occasion, and I initially told my husband that this might be a great place to bring our family for a future vacation. However, this experience has left a bad impression, and I can confidently say I will not be returning.
For anyone considering this resort, I strongly recommend doing thorough research and weighing other options before booking. My stay has been highly disappointing, and I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this resort to others.
