Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The food was very good at the buffet dinner, the bed was very comfortable and the room a good size. The location was excellent for the safari park. The best thing about this hotel was the service. In particular, Antony and Manjula in the bar. These two were phenomenal. Very helpful, kind, caring, chatty and informative. It was a pleasure to be served by them each day. Where we were disappointed by the hotel was that it was a bit dated and the pool beds were extremely uncomfortable. It’s obviously not a cheap hotel but some parts of it lacked what you’d expect from a 5 star hotel. The key did not easily fit into the power socket in the room which was a battle every time we arrived/left the room. The toilet didn’t flush properly. Some areas just looked very dated. We had initially planned to stay at the hotel all day after checking out to head back to Colombo. However, we decided to leave earlier due to the lack of poolside comfort.

So nice!!! The view was beautiful and although we didn’t see that much on the safari which was disappointing, the sunrise was so pretty. It made up for getting up at 4:30am. Way too early. The food was pretty good. The only disappointment was that our room had construction right outside with men looking straight into our room so we couldn’t open the doors or blinds however the staff were very apologetic and moved us to a upgraded room for free which was amazing! Definitely recommend!

A big hotel on the beach. Low and long with big rooms each having a terrace overlooking the beach or pool... Lovely smiling staff and very good buffet food. The main local attraction is Yala National Park and Safari Jeeps leave the hotel at 5.30am to arrive at the park for it's 6am opening. There you have a chance to see leopards, exotic birds, crocodiles etc.

Service and location were superb. Please make sure to book top-floor rooms; we booked a ground-floor room, and those rooms have no view. Service was superb as usual. Jetwing offers very nice and friendly service. Washrooms were smelly; they should fix that. Other than that, all was good and recommended.

A perfect stay. Even with the heavy rain, this hotel was outstanding! Fabulous service, great food at the fine dining restaurant and beautiful views. It even has its own private beach. Wish we could have stayed for longer

If you choose to go all inclusive, the programme generally consists of breakfast (8am to 10.30am), lunch (1pm to 3pm) and dinner (7pm to 9.30pm), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served from 11am to 10pm (except during meal times).
