My stay at The Fortress Resort & Spa in Galle was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism. The setting is breathtaking – a perfect blend of modern luxury and traditional Sri Lankan design, set right on the oceanfront. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views of the sea. The attention to detail throughout the resort, from the decor to the landscaping, really adds to the peaceful and luxurious atmosphere. The food was another highlight – every meal was delicious, with a great mix of local and international options. The staff were always attentive and kind, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Whether you're looking to relax by the pool, enjoy a spa treatment, or explore Galle Fort nearby, this resort is the perfect base. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene, high-end experience on the southern coast of Sri Lanka.

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! From the warm and attentive staff to the delicious food and stunning architecture, everything was exceptional. It truly felt like spending a few days in a colonial palace. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and catered to all our needs with genuine care. An amazing resort. The rooms and view are great. We spent there a night before flying out of Sri-lanca and we enjoyed every minute of it. The ocean was rough when we were there so didn't get a chance to swim but did get a chance to see some sea turtles swimming next to the hotel. The hotel is luxurious and the breakfast was amazing with a great variety to choose from. The pool is huge and it's nice to swim in the pool and enjoy the colorful sunsets. Highly recommended, choose a Seaview room it's worth it.

Excellent service, friendly and welcoming staff. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Our stay at The Fortress was relaxing. Highly recommend the spa treatments offered at the hotel. Staff are well trained and knowledgeable in Ayurvedic practices. Can’t wait to return to The Fortress.

We celebrated our son's 1st B'day here at The Fortress. The hotel is amazing, the rooms spacious and the service is very warm and inviting. One major criticism, which wasn't mentioned anywhere is that they don't have elevators. So, elderly people accompanying may have difficulty walking up stairs. Our parents had some difficulty and we had to rearrange / upgrade rooms last minute for extra price! The staff is very friendly, the look and feel of the property is very pristine and we had a wonderful time there!
