Our stay at Majestic Elegance was great! The grounds were beautifully and well maintained, the rooms were beautiful, the beach was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Bellboys Gerardo and Marco provided exceptional customer service-they were so kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. We did venture off the resort-Marco and Gerardo’s expertise on what to expect, what to bring, best routes to take, who to book through, etc was very helpful and reassuring. Any questions we had, they were quick to personally help or point us in the right direction of whom to speak with at the resort. They also took care of our luggage and valley parking.
Our butler Chris was also great! He checked in each day ensuring we had everything we needed and kept us posted on daily activities our entire stay. He also coordinated our dinner reservations, confirmed our transportation times, kept our fridge fully stocked and answered questions we had along the way.
We had a phenomenal hydro spa experience as well.
The beach massage was not ideal as it was not right on the beach/ocean and loud at times as there was construction going on and loud machinery close by. This was the only time noise was an issue tho. Next time, we would opt for the indoor massage at the spa as it was a very peaceful setting.
Overall, I would highly recommend this resort. The manicured grounds and staff were second to none.

Great food, top tier service, and we loved listening to the grand piano player at the French restaurant!
We never had to wait to get into a restaurant for dinner. We made reservations for the Hibachi and French but all others we could just walk up whenever we got hungry.
Rodrigo at the Sky Lounge took great care of us and went above and beyond for us. He makes us want to return - and we rarely go to the same resort twice.
Miguel at the Piano Bar is so friendly and makes the BEST drinks! Karla was also so lovely!
Ariel, who is part of the entertainment team is so energetic and engaging. Missed his energy on his day off. He brings so much fun to the resort.
Our butlers Rene and Michelle checked in with us daily to ensure we had everything we needed.
There are weddings almost daily. Which isn't really a problem other than we enjoyed the pool area where the weddings take place so we had to find somewhere else to go if we wanted more pool time after 3pm as that's when they start to set up.

The resort is beautiful, but the room has no privacy from the bathroom. The shower is separate but tight. Upon The reception is cold,and not very friendly at all. But all the other staff is super friendly! We did go to the spa and got massages and hydrotherapy, and they were nice and accommodating. The hydrotherapy was life! The Mexican restaurant was by far the best of all the restaurants. The pools are several small pools, and the beach was clean with plenty of chairs. Overall, the resort was good, but I wouldn't return.

Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres is one of the best resorts on the Caribbean. The beach and water is exceptional, clean and blue.
The food is really tasty, and there are a lot of options. The workers there are very professional, and the service is great. Shoutout to Martin Martinez, he is a bartender who is very friendly and professional and personable with the guests. Also Miguel, who is also a bartender that is very skilled at it and incredibly professional and accommodating. And also Giovanni at the piano bar, he is kind and makes great drinks. They all make great drinks. We hit up the bars often!
As far as the room service, I gave it 4 stars because they would often forget to restock all the towels when they cleaned the room everyday. But they took care of everything else and fixed a minor problem we had very fast.
For service in general, the waiters and bartenders are great. Very accommodating.
I highly recommend this resort, this is our second time going there.

My husband and I had the absolute best time here at this resort. Everyone at the resort had the kindest soul and made the experience 100 x better! And I just wanna give a shout out to Gustavo from Italy, he was absolutely incredible and had the kindest soul. His work ethic and compassion as a waiter blew me away. He will always take care of you! He makes the best cocktails on the resort as well! 10000 percent recommended!
