The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the views are breathtaking! Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations, and the service was a bit of a hit or miss. Some staff members were incredibly helpful, but others seemed bothered by even the simplest questions. One of the most frustrating moments was when I tried to order drinks by the pool. The employee who first approached me gave me an attitude, and another employee took my order but never returned. On a positive note, the environment was very clean, and the housekeeping staff were great. The front desk team and the men working at the entrance were also very welcoming. However, there was one alarming incident on our check-out date. At 10 AM, someone came banging on the door. I yelled “yes” from inside as I was getting ready for the long travel day, and he screamed, “Open the door now.” I opened it, and he bluntly said, “Check out now.” When I asked if I didn’t have until noon, he simply responded, “Sure” and walked away. Overall, the experience was a mix of highs and lows, but honestly, it wasn’t worth the money spent. Wouldn’t recommend it unless there are significant improvements in service.

I had a great stay at Hilton Tulum and overall enjoyed my time there. The room was fantastic, with stunning ocean views. However, the food variety felt limited, desserts could be improved, and I was disappointed that most wines and “premium” dishes at à la carte restaurants required an extra charge. The resort is beautiful and relatively new, but some minor maintenance issues stood out, like broken sunshades, missing pool tiles, and non-functioning kids’ water features. A major downside was the rock beach in front of the guest rooms—it was filthy with plastic trash and debris. Plus, the beaches were so rocky that walking or swimming was difficult. Since the resort is large, getting around meant either long walks or waiting for golf carts. Offering bikes—especially cargo or kid-trailer bikes—would be a great improvement. Lastly, the extra charge for staying a few hours after check-out felt excessive, as many resorts allow it for free. Despite these issues, I enjoyed my stay, and the beautiful views and comfortable accommodations stood out. With a few improvements, this could be an even better experience.

We recently stayed at the Hilton All-Inclusive Resort and booked an Enclave ocean front room, and I must say, the experience exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Enrique catzin went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met with a smile, and their attention to detail was outstanding. The resort itself was beautiful, offering a variety of amenities that made our stay both relaxing and exciting. Whether it was lounging by the pool, enjoying the pristine beach, or indulging in delicious meals at the diverse restaurants, everything was top-notch. The all-inclusive package was definitely worth it, as it allowed us to enjoy unlimited food and drinks, which made the experience feel truly carefree. If you're looking for a hassle-free getaway with fantastic service, great food, and a beautiful setting, the Hilton All-Inclusive Resort is the place to be. We highly recommend it and will definitely be returning for another memorable vacation!

I recently stayed at the Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort, and overall, I’d rate my experience a generous 4 stars. The resort itself is stunning, with well-kept grounds and beautifully maintained facilities, but there were some service and dining drawbacks that keep it from being a true 5-star experience. ⭐ Room & Cleanliness – 5 Stars The accommodations were excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, ensuring everything was refreshed daily. No complaints here—this was definitely a highlight of the stay. ⭐ Resort Facilities – 5 Stars The property itself is breathtaking. From the pristine grounds to the well-maintained restrooms and public spaces, Hilton Tulum takes great care of its facilities. Everything felt upscale and thoughtfully designed, making for a visually stunning and relaxing environment. ⭐ Food – 3 Stars This was the most inconsistent aspect of the trip. While some meals were enjoyable, the overall quality of the food ranged from mediocre to good. If you're a foodie or seeking a culinary adventure, this resort may not meet your expectations. ⭐ Service – 3 Stars Service was hit or miss. The check-in process was exceptionally long and cumbersome, which set a frustrating tone at the start. Once checked in, we had to wait again for the concierge to arrange dinner reservations for our stay—a process that could have been streamlined. The grounds and housekeeping staff were the friendliest, always greeting guests warmly. However, the restaurant and bar staff had several missed opportunities to elevate the experience with a simple smile or a more engaging attitude. One major frustration was at the pool areas in the afternoon, where used towels and empty drink glasses were left scattered on lounge chairs, making it difficult to find an available seat. Most chairs were occupied by towels rather than actual guests, which could have been better managed. ⭐ Pro Tip: Use the QR Code! A significant missed opportunity was the resort’s QR code system, which provides access to restaurant menus, room service options, activity schedules, and more. We only learned about it on our last day—something that should have been shared at check-in to improve our experience from the start. Final Thoughts Would I stay here again? Yes, but I would likely try other resorts first. The Hilton Tulum has a lot going for it—luxurious accommodations, beautiful surroundings, and solid housekeeping—but the service inconsistencies and average food make it fall short of a perfect stay. If you're looking for an ultra-luxurious, food-focused experience, this may not be the best choice. However, if you prioritize great rooms and a beautiful resort setting, it's worth considering.

This is a review of the check-in process as Hilton Diamond Members. We just checked in last night. Got here at 6 pm and waited over an hour and a half to check in and get dinner reservations only to find out that our only option was the buffet. We finally got to our room at 7.45. The fastest part of this was getting our bags and our ride on the golf cart to our room. The valet staff, Isaiah & and Gustavo, were lovely; friendly, helpful, and informative. The front desk staff (check in and concierge) were clearly overworked, tired, and understaffed. There didn't seem to be any systems in place to help the staff or the customers. Each check-in was taking 15 to 20 minutes. ● Some possible options: send a link with check and dinner reservations info ahead of time so that those who can, can do it themselves ahead of time. ● Have a quick check-in option for Diamond Members who don't need a 10-minute explanation of how hotels work. We are still on property and, unfortunately, have found mildew in the bathroom and the main buffet to be bland at best. As you can see from most of my reviews, I lean positive and always find something to appreciate. I am finding this hard here but will keep looking for the silver lining.
