We had such an amazing trip here at the pyramid!
The food was so tasty. Very fresh!
The rooms were a little old but they were clean and we were comfortable!
Beach was gorgeous.
The service was amazing ! People were so kind and made our experience so good.
I don't understand the bad reviews... we had the best time and we will be back again.
Loved it.
Thank you oasis pyramid!

This hotel is absolutely not recommended.
We have been staying here for two days, and the website claims there are 24 restaurants. However, most of the time when we try to go to one, they tell us it’s fully booked, and we have to wait for three hours, even though the restaurant is not full and there are empty tables.
The management here is incredibly poor. The staff often say there is no availability or that we have to wait for hours, just to avoid doing their job.
Water is leaking from the ceiling in our room, and it’s not very clean either.
This hotel is definitely not a 5-star property. It suffers from severe management issues, and the staff are extremely rude.

The rooms are moldy and really humid, my partner and my friend got sick because of it. The service is really bad and they treat you really bad. We paid for the highest category and you still have to do reservations for almost everything. I strongly suggest you find another resort to stay at. We paid for the highest category and still the premium drinks come for an extra cost the drinks feel really cheap. The food is horrendous everywhere except a restaurant inside that you needed reservations for.

We stayed in the pyramid, not the basic Grand Oasis, but this is still a discount resort. It's all inclusive only if you upgrade your bands. You need a black band at least, or you can only eat at the buffett. The pool is big with plenty of seating. I did go in the iff season, though. The food is mediocre. There are things in our room that we're not great, even purchasing a Sian Kaan room. Which is supposed to be top of line room and service. The staff was not rude, but there was never anyone to really explain things too us, we were kind of on our own unless we went to the desk for the pyramid. The staff there was nice pleasant and helpful. This is not the place for me. I prefer better service and all inclusive being all inclusive. I don't like you having to upgrade, extra charge for a lot of things. We have been to other resorts, there were a few things that we're extra but the majority, the normal things, were available to you. You get what you pay for, but when you pay for one of the better/best rooms, you expect better. Also, this seems to be a place where a lot of people from Mexico come to. So half of the staff speaks/understands English if that could be an issue for someone. This is not a luxury resort by far. We stayed at the Garza Blanca in Puerto Vallarta, but not the one in Cancun. The Garza is a luxury resort in service, food, and facilities. Which is what I compare our stays to.

Dear Pyramid Hotel Management and Staff,
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your resort from July 31st, 2024 to August 5th, 2024. My experience was unfortunately marred by a series of significant issues that completely compromised my stay.
Upon arrival, I was met with a complete lack of bell service and a notably absent welcome. The situation escalated when my room was not ready, and it took an unacceptable 30 minutes to secure accommodations through guest services. This initial encounter set a disheartening tone for the remainder of my stay.
The condition of the room was equally disappointing. The sliding doors were filthy, the shower appeared to be on the verge of falling apart, and the overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. Basic amenities such as hand soap, shower gel, conditioner, and washcloths were absent, forcing me to borrow these items from friends. On Friday August 2nd the building had a water shut off for over 5 hours which was a MASSIVE inconvenience. The fridge was in a deplorable state hadn’t been cleaned in months, and the safe was broken, rendering it useless for securing valuables.
The dining options were equally unsatisfactory. The buffet I attended was a shocking display of poor food quality, with items appearing to have been sitting out for days. The limited restaurant availability, especially during early morning and late night hours, was incredibly inconvenient. The concept of paying a service fee for room service at an inclusive resort is unheard of and unacceptable. Furthermore, the room service menu was extremely limited, and the staff’s attitude towards guests was unprofessional and argumentative.
In addition to the above issues, a staff member at Kinky made an inappropriate comment towards me, which created an uncomfortable and hostile environment.
I have never experienced such a substandard level of service at a hotel, especially one that claims to be a resort. I believe that these issues warrant immediate attention and corrective action. I expect a prompt and satisfactory response addressing these concerns.
Sincerely, Krista
