We stayed at Mar Senses September 2024 and we want to come back as soon as possible. There were so many positives about our stay at Mar Senses. The food was brilliant and fresh every day with a variety of options that changed daily. We required a strict Celiac Diet and each day we were shown a variety of gluten free options. We were offered gluten free bread and gluten free chips for each meal. Special gluten free deserts were also prepared. Another member of our party is vegetarian and there were plenty of fresh food options each day.
Every staff member was helpful, professional and made our stay enjoyable. Everyone we encountered seemed to enjoy working at Mars Senses from the restaurant staff, lifeguards, bar staff, entertainment, cleaning, and front desk. We remarked on a few occasions how happy the staff seem. The resort was also always extremely clean. The beach was a pleasant few minutes stroll away. There are many little coves to explore nearby. The area surrounding Mars Senses is also clean and very family friendly. The area felt very safe.
On our last day we discovered our return flights were cancelled. The front desk staff were very supportive and found us a room for the night and helped us while we resolved our flights. The front desk staff also made sure our return transportation was adjusted as well. Thanks George for your professionalism and your sense of humour for making a stressful situation enjoyable. You are a star. We will definitely be returning very soon! Thank you!

Hotel and facilities great for us, very clean with excellent food and drink options for the price. The photos both here and when we booked are a little misleading as one pool is for a different hotel now and our room was much more old fashioned than the ones shown. Location is brill, 3 min walk down steps for the beach and the shops are ten minutes away. Plenty of entertainment for all ages. Overall is excellent value for the price.

Last year was so much better in nearly all aspects. So much so we booked to return the same week we got back. Unfortunately the hotel has made cut backs which has meant the experience has been a let down in all the areas they excelled in last year.
The biggest area which affected our stay, the staff. Last year they were friendlier, paid more attention to detail and would chat and make you feel welcome. This year they did the bare minimum necessary to serve someone. The exception to this being the restaurant staff, these were still amazing.
We missed the experienced members of staff present last year that made the hotel experience all that more enjoyable. Maybe they now work in the adult only zone, but the hotel definitely suffers as a result.
The premium drinks package has suffered so much that the premium cocktails are now indistinguishable from the standard ones, all served in a glass tumbler and lucky if you get a slice of lemon/orange. Last year the premium cocktails looked, felt and tasted like they were more premium than the standard ones. My favourite drink from last year, the Mai Tai, tasted like a cheap artificial juice drink this year and came in a small tumbler with no garnish.
Enterntainment this year has also been a bit of a let down. Last year more external performers performed and the performances were of a higher standard. We found ourselves leaving and going outside of the hotel for evening entertainment this year more than last.
The snack bar has been downgraded to a tiny area next to the kids pool due to the new adult only zone. This isn't a massive issue as we never really used the snack bar, however last year's was much better with a larger selection of snacks and a better bar and seating area.
Luckily the food and rooms haven't suffered. These were as good as last year. Location is obviously still fantastic with everything being very accessible.
Service is what made this experience so good last year that we returned. This has dropped in standard so much it completely changed how much we enjoyed being in the hotel complex. We still enjoyed the experience and the hotel is still relatively good value but it is now lacking in areas it excelled in last year, hence dropping 2 stars from last years review.

What a lovely hotel with exceptional staff. We have arrived on holiday after my husband suffered a down turn in his health condition after booking this holiday. I was so scared we should of cancelled however I new the sun would be good for us all and the all inclusive a must for me - after spending my days caring and cooking for him and our daughter.
Room amazing - the sea view is worth every penny.
The food in the restaurant has a wide variety and there is theme each day. Breakfast is perfect and lunch is salad bar, plus variety of cooked. Desserts are not my thing but they have ice cream and loads of fresh fruit.
Outside the times of the restaurant there is a buffet offered at the pool with pizza oven fresh pizzas which were a great hit with our daughter.
The drinks are great, we did go for top tier at an extra cost on arrival but that's because I like Aperol spritz !
The facilities and reception staff have helped us so much, Barbera has been the most wonderful and accommodating person.
We needed a wheelchair and she helped me book one, we needed taxis they booked them for us and everything to help us enjoy this holiday they have done.
I had to take Andrew breakfast every morning and sometimes lunch as moving out of the apartment before then wasn't possible and they allowed this without a problem.
It's been great, the beach is a walk down some steps but a beautiful cove when you get there.
I liked Cala D'or and would definitely come back.
Thank you 🤩

If you’re thinking of going to the Cala D’Or area then this is a lovely place to stay. Well situated right on the beach (Cala Ferrera) but within a very easy walk of the main centre. The adults only side is genuinely adult only and you will get guests (adults)from the family section escaping to the very nice pool and restaurant. It’s worth mentioning the restaurant and experience managers who were excellent and the food was very good. Rooms were fine and big, but if you’re located close to the road there is some early morning road noise and you will hear the main hotel entertainment to around 1030/45pm on the activity nights. But overall a very good experience and we would recommend the hotel.
