Not the greatest hotel, but not the worst hotel I've been to.
Rooms:
My room was fairly big, I didn't find any bugs and I don't think there was any bed bugs. Some concerns I had was that my room had some random doors that open to another door, which was explained to me as it being connecting rooms before. I kept it locked it whole time, but I wouldn't recommend this to any vulnerable populations traveling alone because of safety. Some parts of my room was dirty, like my toilet, my sink, my bathtub and the floors. I would suggest to bring wipes so that you can wipe everything down. I feel like there is definitely signs of mold in the room although it did not smell like mold, but outlets work and my AC works as well. Equipped with microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. Bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner was also provided! I would say if you're okay with it being a tad dirty, it's a decent place for a decent price.
Service:
Staff is very nice and friendly. Always smiling and greeting you. They do try to make your stay as comfortable as they can to the best of their capabilities.
Location:
Very close to a lot of stores. Right in front, there is also a bus line as well. I picked this place mostly for the location and I'd say that I traveled pretty easily with the bus lines. Though, I don't know if it's safe at night.

Worst hotel experience ever in my life. Checked in and out within 5 minutes and they refuse to give me a refund. All their 5 star reviews are obviously fake and poorly written by their owners. The people at the registrar lied to my face saying the third party website will give me a refund. They don't even know the names of their own manager. The room itself smelled like cat piss, and the walls were paper thin. There were stains and bugs crawling all over the sheets and walls. The photos on the website are probably from 50 years ago.
We immediately checked into another hotel down the street, which had records of us staying there. Monumental Movieland still has the audacity to claim that we stayed a night at their hotel and charge us for it. This is definitely their only way to make money - By scamming people!!! DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND DON'T STAY HERE.

Would give it zero stars if I could!!
When entering, the smell is horrendous. You can smell the damp and mold as soon as you enter. The staff are very blunt and rude. They charge you 5 dollars per day for amenities, that is not listed anywhere, we would have not booked if knowing this. The lifts are out of order. The laundry room was so dirty, dust and dirt everywhere. We did one wash using the washing machine and it’s charged our card triple the price it said. The room itself was appalling! The smell knocked me physically sick, the ceiling was covered in mold, the AC was so loud we had to keep it off, the plugs didn’t work, when I tried to plug my charger in it would just fall out, there were dirty marks on the bedding, the tv wouldn’t turn on, the toilet made a loud noise and wouldn’t flush, came back one day and it was completely over flowing, the walls everywhere were covered in mold. There were loads of bed bugs, i left covered in bite marks as well as ants all over the bathroom. It completely ruined our holiday, we couldn’t wait to leave. The fact that they have the audacity to charge 5 dollars a day with the state the hotel is in is laughable. Do not stay here!

Awful I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here , we had to change room due to broken bed ,plug socket and fridge was shown 4 other rooms settled on final one. I had to ask them to clean the pool as it was dirty and yellow. Our room was cleaned once while we where there which would have been fine if we had a brush and pan and mop and bucket in room but we didn't so had to use towels. Our bedding was changed once a week was meant to be every other day as long as bed is clear of anything and towels we constantly had to ask for which ypu leave outside door and they are meant to replace straight away, we where there for 3 weeks, Tiny ants are everywhere and when we left are $100 deposit still hasn't been refunded that was 3 weeks ago there is a lovely hotel just behind this place in visitors circle I recommend you stay there and there are plenty others close to this one which would be far better than staying here . I went with my 2 daughters and was looking at moving hotels which would cost just over another $1100 but due to that being another 2 hotels 1 week in each which was the availability I decided to stay put . The holiday itself was excellent just not this hotel.

Where do I start? No issues with the service and I didnt notice any bedbugs in our room, but this place has plenty full of maintenance issues. Looks like a closed down hotel was thrown back together just enough to make it usable. Yes, it was cheap and close to Universal, but even considering those facts, I would not stay here again. I will be fair and call them about all the issues I found, but after I verify my deposit was refunded.
