I recently stayed at this hotel during IITSEC, and while my experience was mixed, I feel it's important to share some feedback. Unfortunately, I believe I was assigned one of the least desirable rooms in the hotel. It was located in the furthest area of the property, adjacent to what seemed to be a cleaning supply restocking zone. If I hadn't been so exhausted from the conference and only staying to sleep, I would have likely upgraded my room.
My room had a noticeable odor, reminiscent of a pool and mold. To address this, I found myself airing it out for about an hour each time I returned. The flooring in the room was also concerning, leaving my feet sticky enough to warrant washing them in the tub before putting on socks or shoes. Additionally, the noise from cleaning activities in the halls was disruptive, continuing until midnight and starting again at 8 a.m., loud enough to wake me even while wearing earplugs.
On a positive note, the main areas of the hotel are well-maintained, and the gym is adequate. The staff members I interacted with were very friendly and professional, which I greatly appreciated. However, the stark contrast between the public spaces and the condition of my room left me questioning whether cleanliness is prioritized in all parts of the property or if I was simply unfortunate in being placed in what felt like a less maintained, motel-style section of the hotel.
One delightful aspect of my stay was the presence of lizards and squirrels around the property, which added a charming touch. My advice to future guests: inspect your room upon check-in. While the location is excellent and the staff is wonderful, the condition of my assigned room fell well below the standard expected of a Hilton property.

At first sight. I was excited to stay here. The common areas are well-maintained. There's a restaurant on-site with a bar, a small pizza place with common convenience store items, and a nice atmosphere throughout. However, my stay was disrupted from the moment my husband and I went to check-in. The room we had booked was not ready. The staff had us wait while they sent someone to check if another room was prepped for guests. We were given a villa on the first floor. Initially, I thought that was great. When we arrived at the room, we were pretty let down. The bed was clean and tidy, but that was the only thing in the room that seemed like it had any effort put into cleaning it. There was a wrapper on the floor. The bedside phone had so much crud built up around the buttons. The bathroom mirror was dirty, and the toilet ran all night eventually overflowing out of the tank of the toilet and flooding the bathroom. Additionally, being on the ground level floor, we heard every single person that walked by, and their dragging suitcase, too. Literally, noisy all night and all day. It is holiday season and they play Christmas music over the speakers for 12 HOURS a DAY! There's no getting away from it anywhere on-site. To top-off the whole poor experience, I was disappointed there is no complimentary breakfast with our stay. Guests are welcomed to pay nearly $30 for a breakfast buffet.

I'm a truck driver. I just picked this place at random to stay the night. The staff were very nice, check-in was easy and fairly inexpensive. The rooms are dated but nice and clean. The grounds were well kept and clean. The market cafe had a great bagel breakfast combo. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in this hotel last year and was impressed and like the room. I did have an issue at check-in w/ extra fees I was not told about when I booked the room but they honored what I was quoted. Overall I liked the hotel & the room we were given last year, so I booked it again this year. This year, once again had to pull out my reservation receipt to show them price I was given because they were adding all These additional fees I was not told about when I booked the room. Mind you, I asked multiple times if I would be charged anything extra than what was on that email. Basically, You’re paying for a nightly stay, they add on a $25 resort fee, $30 each night for parking, & place a $50 hold on your card until after check out. I knew about the 50 Dollar hold except they held 75 when I got there . my room was in a different building this time. This room was antiquated to say the least. the phone was just for display because it didn’t work to call the front desk, the microwave was placed underneath the nightstand in between the two beds, room had 1 trash can which was in bathroom, the coffee machine was unplugged & in order to plug it i had to move the entire dresser that held the mini fridge Inside. It was so heavy I couldn’t move it & plugged coffee machine on the bathroom sink. 3 days later still waiting on my deposit which now is only $30 not $50. they charged me the resort charge twice. Customer service was no help as they insisted I didn’t get overcharged.

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel. Maybe it used to be, but not any more. It has the amenities of a 4 star hotel with the run down feeling of a motel 6. My family and I got one night for a trip to sea world the next day. We regret spending the money. We payed 30$ for parking that was not disclosed when we booked the room. Our room came with “free breakfast “ but when you pay the $25 resort fee and add $30 for parking- well that would cover breakfast at any place around town. Breakfast buffet was not bad looking but the food was just under warm- causing it to need reheating by the time I got to the table with it. From a food safety perspective this is not good- and well I could have had a better tasting coffee at a truck stop. The carpets were visibly soiled and coming loose and threaded in some areas. Our shower had some hair in it from the previous guest. The beds were so uncomfortable. Hard. property is large, and I can see how it probably used to be a really great destination hotel, but perhaps they are understaffed and struggling. We were looking for a really great experience to preclude our sea world trip and we should have just stayed home in Tampa and driven to Orlando in the morning. The one good thing about our room was that we had a view of the park from our window. Perhaps we could have had a better stay at the actual Hilton across the street. If I’m going to stay in a glorified motel 6, I should not have to pay a resort fee or parking charge- and the room should have cost $80 or under. We have stayed at other Hilton locations and we know this company can do better. I’m sure management needs more support or something.
