Tuck into mouth-wateringly fresh seafood in this laid-back, modern restaurant. With stunning views on either side of the river and the ocean, it’s a perfect setting for a romantic meal for two. Flavours are a zesty mix of Sri Lankan specialities, and the restaurant is open for dinner only.

Suan Bua

Featuring an irresistible menu of Thai home cooking with a Sri Lankan twist, Suan Bua offers dining in a wonderfully relaxing environment. Try a refreshing spicy green mango salad, or a warming rich smooth curry. There’s a tasty list of vegetarian options available. Suan Bua is open for dinner only.

I had an amazing experience. The resort is located between the Bentota River and the sea, offering stunning views.The food was fantastic, with a wide variety of local and international dishes to choose from. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making sure all our needs were met.Overall, NH bentota Ceysands Resort is an ideal place for a relaxing getaway with a great balance of nature and luxury. Located on an island where you have to get to by a 5 minute boat ride, the hotel is clean and has a beautiful beach, pool, pool bar and lots of other amenities. Staff are friendly and available at all times. Breakfast buffet is super extensive. Really enjoyed staying at this hotel and definitely recommend it.

We recently had a team outing, where we participated in some team-building activities and enjoyed a relaxing time. However, our time for the buffet was limited, as we arrived at 2:30 pm, and at 3:00 pm, a staff member came to inform us that the buffet would close in 5 minutes. My manager kindly requested an extra 10 minutes, but the staff member refused in a very unpleasant manner. This was by far the worst customer service I have encountered at a hotel with a 4-star rating! To make matters worse, while we were eating, the same staff member approached us asking for our entry tickets, making it feel as though we were being treated like freeloaders. My manager had her ticket in her bag, but the staff member stood there waiting for her to hand it over while she was eating. If your team is considering a day out here, I strongly advise against it. Almost every staff member seems to have the same poor attitude. They strictly enforce rules and guidelines but fail to treat guests with respect. If they continue this way, I’m certain they will lose their 4-star status. Additionally, when the food ran out, there was no effort to refill the buffet. This is definitely not an ideal place for a team outing.

We had an amazing experience at Bentota Ceysands hotel during our friends’ day out! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. Highlight of experience started with lovely boat ride to the hotel reception. The hotel was conveniently located near major attractions, making it easy for us to explore. They have lot of water sport activities and we chose boat ride to visit mangroves. It was very fantastic experience and boatman also very friendly. The rooms were well-maintained, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed. The in-house restaurant served delicious meals. We enjoyed the pool games which made our day out even more fun. The hotel staff was polite, helpful, friendly , and ensured we had a hassle-free stay. Overall, Bentota Ceysands Hotel was the perfect choice for our friends’ getaway! We will definitely be coming back for another fun-filled stay. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
