Moon
We wanted to stay in the south this time and chose Outrigger. It was a huge mistake. We wanted to leave as soon as we stepped in. The vibes are not welcoming at all. Unlike other resorts, the atmosphere was dull, night animation was boring. Staff is so unfriendly and looks like newbies. Nobody knows how to smile. Some are even uncultured. The 'managers' in flowery shirts keeps wandering around but are never checking on their customers and assuring that they are having a good time. No wonder why the resort is empty in a peak season. Definitely not worth the amount we paid to be here. This place is a huge red flag.

The resort is located on the beach and has great views. Rooms are spacious but there is an issue with the air-conditioning and also some rooms are quite far from activity and dining areas. They could probably provide a golf cart probably. Food service could be improved especially for vegetarians (It used to get over very early and never get refilled during breakfast) Some staff members are very nice and warm but some are very rude as well and Non cooperative.

This resort is perfect for families to relax, rooms are good.. restaurants are also good. You can take a bath at the beach anytime. You will also get few water activities as part of the resort.
It is situated in the coastal Village area and outskirts from the city. You will get all facilities here.
Disadvantage is service is not as expected especially restaurant staff. Only SAM at Mercardo showing some hospitality, rest all staff are not at all taking care of attending any one.
The other staff like reception and cleaning all are good.
Suggest- Please include more vegan and local foods as well. Also, some one can attend and take feedback on regular basis that would be good, it would be good if they can have bicycle to hire and go near by area.

The rooms and the hotel facilities are really nice. Reception staff are also very polite and caring.
However, staffs at the restaurant and bar are very slow to serve and various occasions did not bring our order on time. For instance we waited one hour to be served drinks.

A five star hotel with a 0 star service. Our vacation was a total disaster.
House keeping staff will not hesitate to open your personal luggage in your absence when they couldnt find the room's water bottle. My husband entered the room just while the guy was hurrying to close my suitcase and he had the audacity to try to convince me that my husband was lying. Such a disgrace.
The irony here was when we returned the towel cards, the girl didnt bother to take any details about who is returning these cards. So be prepared for them to then accuse you of stealing towels. The management in compensation extended our AI package till 4pm which honestly was meaningless as it was already lunchtime and food and drinks would be served anyway.
This was just an add up to the already poor service we were recieving since we had arrived. Staff is grumpy, unprofessional and untrained. Beach boys do not exist, you get up and go order your drinks by yourself each time if you are sitting by the pool. The second pool doesnt even provide any service. Hospitality is still an undiscovered word for this hotel.
Another joke is the food, the buffet didnt have much choice. The grilled fish was overcooked and super oily. I was having the tamam cocktail throughout the evening and i got a new version of it each time i ordered. Sparkling wine was at room temperature.
To conclude, this hotel is a shame and not anywhere near a 5 star. If you really have no choice but to stay there, make sure to lock your belongings when you leave the room and be prepared for a stressful stay.
