It was a wonderful weekend, which ticked almost all boxes for a staycation. From the welcome to the goodbyes, we've had nothing to complain about. The staff was very kind and friendly, they were professional and attentive to details.
Even though the hotel in itself dates, it is well maintained, other than the usual wear and tear over the years but hardly anything major which would stand out.
The food was very good, your breakfast buffet was nothing out of the ordinary but always full and well presented, above all clean. So was all the cooking stations. We had dinner at The Plantation, which is a beautiful restaurant with old charms. The furniture and decor made you feel like walking into a time machine. The food was exceptionally good for me being a vegetarian.
Would recommend it to anyone going as a family with kids.

We enjoyed a week in this fantastic place, at the end of October 2024. We are a family of 3: 2 adults and an 8 years old boy. The hotel was great, with fantastic food, very nice staff and top cleaning service (the cleanest hotel room we ever experienced). The entire holiday in Mauritius was a beautiful dream.

Our arrival at your hotel was on the recommendation of the local agency "Boutiqe tours" Serbia. when we read the reviews, there were lower rated ones. That worried us a bit. By coming and staying in your facility, we want to give our opinion. The hotel, staff and location on the island is divine. The rain persistently visits the hotel, the beach is impeccable, there is a choice of food, the staff is friendly and not intrusive. The only weakness is to present yourself better on the hotel offer because the hotel is much better than the website. Help the guest to decide for a pleasant vacation. Thank you and thank you to our agency

The first thing I want to mention is the service and the attitude of the staff. It is at an extremely high level. I travel a lot, but I have only experienced such hospitality once before, and that was at a hotel where the prices were almost twice as high. As someone who works with clients, I can say that it’s a huge effort, and much respect to the hotel manager or the person responsible for the staff. Everyone, without exception, is incredibly hospitable and does everything to make sure you are satisfied with your vacation. This is definitely the hotel’s strongest point.
The room. Spacious, cleaning is at a very high level, they even wash the windows, always perfectly clean. The room has a bath and a shower, and they even provide bath salts. The room has everything. Very satisfied.
The beach is clean. No waves, as the reefs stop them. I can’t say there are many fish in the ocean near the hotel, but swimming is pure enjoyment. However, the snorkeling isn’t ideal, but this isn’t a hotel issue.
Activities. A lot of free water activities, like canoeing, wakeboarding, catamarans, water skiing, and a boat with a glass bottom. And all of this is free. Twice a week, there’s free yoga. Every evening, from 18:30 to 22:45, there’s live music, which is a pleasure to listen to. The style is jazz or classic golden hits.
Food. I would say I even enjoy the main restaurant more than the à la carte. The à la carte has beautiful presentation and a nice setting, but the selection and food are better at the main restaurant. In main restaurant the breakfasts are pretty much the same every day. Every evening at the main restaurant, there are different world cuisines for dinner, so the dinner never gets boring over the week. Every dinner is something new—French cuisine one evening, Indian the next, Mediterranean, etc. But in the à la carte restaurant, the menu is the same. The food in the main restaurant is not overwhelming in quantity, but everything is incredibly delicious, and there’s enough of it.
Overall, I recommend the hotel. They checked us in much earlier than the official check-in time, basically right after our arrival, and even invited us for breakfast.

It was opened in 1992, but it is in top condition. I couldn't find anything wrong or not properly maintained. The room we had was spacious, a great bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. The hotel offers a world of activities like water ski, bottom glass boat, snorkelling, sailboats (laser, hobbycat windsurf), and more for free. Diving is also available on location (extra charge). The food was good and good variety. Staff was incredibly friendly, and our butler took really good care of us. Even if you don't see him, he is watching over your every need. The pool was nice and it offers 3 different areas for the guests. Pool side, beach side and adults only. The best part in my view was the beach. One of the most beautiful in the island and for sure our favourite. No place is perfect, and in this case, I have to say, get a retal car if you stay here. There is not much going on in the nearby town and the shops there are expensive and tourist traps. I my opinion it is stealing. 3 times the cost of other places and sometimes even more. We got one souvenir at the Flac market for 350 Rupees (7€). The same thing had in the little town a price tag of 3000 Rupees. (Approximately 61€). Rent a car, be mobile.
