One of THE best trips I’ve been on. Everything was so seamless from the moment I inquired about the booking to the sad moment we had to leave. Customer service and email response time was next level. I was so impressed and hoped the hotel lived up to my expectations… it definitely surpassed my expectations!!
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, so natural and peaceful and not over the top. It secluded and quiet … It is the perfect escape. But what made the trip so special was the staff. From the moment we were greeted when we arrived, to the wait staff at dinner always knowing our room number and the bar staff that never forgot our favorite cocktail and especially the guys at the boat house who took us out on countless snorkeling trips. OH and of course the Rum Tasting!! That was fantastic! All the added activities that are included are such a bonus and make up for the fact that the hotel is a little bit far out.
Everyone was so personable and it made the stay really special. This was a trip we will never forget! Thank you :)

This hotel is for you if you want great service in a beach side hotel with service second to none. ALL the staff were so so helpful so it would be wrong to single out Ashna Josh or Aum because ALL staff were great.
The location and level of luxury here is perfection. This is a hotel that “keeps giving”

What an AMAZING experience! I celebrated a special birthday there and the staff went above and beyond to make it fantastic. They paid attention to every detail and they were all so nice. The food at all the restaurants was delicious and meeting the head chef and doing a cooking class with him enhanced the entire culinary experience. One of the best hotels I’ve booked and I will be back!

A few days in paradise: that’s how it felt to stay at the Oberoi in Mauritius which was, hands down, our best hotel experience ever. From the moment we entered the resort grounds and were warmly welcomed until the moment it was time to say goodbye, the entire team (I won’t mention names because I literally would need to name every single one of them) went out of their way to make our stay one-of-a-kind. For example: researching and recommending excursions based on our specific wishes, showing us the beautiful coral reef in an expertly maneuvered glass bottom boat, delivering relaxing massages, making every single dining experience enjoyable (and every meal was exceptional), giving us fresh aloe vera to soothe sunburns, and making sure our stays at the beach, the pool, the bar, the herb garden … were all, simply, perfection. Not to mention the many activities offered (wine tasting , star gazing, cooking courses, snorkeling, yoga…) and the many people working behind the scenes to upkeep the stunning gardens/grounds and provide security and maintenance.
We truly had the feeling that each and every staff member regardless of role goes out of their way to deliver a truly exceptional client experience in this truly stunning setting.
If you’re reading this review because you’re hesitating given the steep price tag and trying to decide if it is worth it (as we did prior to booking ), let me tell you: you will love it.

We are incredibly pleased with our stay at the oberoi hotels. Amazing service from the staff all the way from the reception, housekeeping, restaurant and the management. The staff has a can-do attitude, they will do their best to be flexible and accomodate our request. A big shout-out to the chef, Deepak Kumar for the delicious food; we really enjoyed the food and the overall service and hospitality. The resort is very calm and peaceful. Highly recommended 🙂
