Me and my husband have had a great time at Long Beach and would highly recommend to anyone!
The food was the best part of our trip (other than being in Mauritius of course) everything was well presented and very tasty. It's often difficult for me eating abroad due to my gluten allergy but everyone was extremely accommodating.
For anyone reading this, if there isn't anything on the menu that you really want, the restaurants are good at adapting to allergies. For example Chopsticks made me a gluten free pad Thai even though it's not on the menu.
The hotel was in a great location with a beautiful beach and pool, lots of restaurants to choose from and the evening entertainment was great with a live band on every night (different every night). Everything was well kept with gardeners on site every day, cleaners always cleaning the communal toilets and staff around the pool taking drinks orders. A shout out to Cynthia - thank you!
The staff were all extremely friendly, and very accommodating. Couldn't fault anyone.
There is some constructive feedback which I would like to pass onto the hotel.
Hotel
The windows in our room needed cleaning on the outside, they looked very dirty and like they'd not been cleaned for some time.
The rooms I feel need a deep clean, surface level was absolutely fine, but the bath could have done with an extra scrub, already mentioned the windows, the cupboards looked grubby.
Music in the restaurants went from "restaurant music" to pop hits and then when someone noticed, it'd get changed back. This happened in all restaurants. It's nothing to worry about as such, just a small detail.
We only get all inclusive until 3pm on the day of departure, we weren't aware of this until half way through when I asked, although we leave at 6:30pm it means we have 3 1/2 hours without drinks or we have to pay. I truly believe if it's all inclusive this should be until you depart the hotel.
Also, it needs to be made clear quite quickly what is included in all inclusive and what isn't. When you choose to pay the difference between all inclusive and full board, this is usually as conscious decision so that you get all drinks and food included and don't have to think about what you're getting. I was very surprised when I found out over time that a lot of the cocktails weren't included, there was a wine list which was to be paid for, there is a crepe station which is free but if you get an ice cream from the same station it's chargeable, but if you get an ice-cream in the restaurant it's free.
On a side note for guests - tips added to a cheque won't reach the restaurant staff, but cash tips do.
Overall this was a dream holiday, but just a couple of things to improve on.

Fantastic experience staying at Long Beach. The reliability of their services stood out: everything worked as expected. The staff was attentive, the amenities were great, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. Many food options. I especially liked the buffet breakfast. The beach itself is super nice. It can get a bit windy in winter, so water sports can be hard to time. (Not the hotel's fault though.)
Highly recommend for a hassle-free stay!

This hotel is absolutely wonderful! We came for the first time early February and just keep coming back. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The location is serene but the thing that really makes this hotel stand out is the service. The people who work at Long Beach are so hospitable and really go above and beyond to ensure our time is relaxing and enjoyable. I particularly want to mention Oliver who works in hospitality by the Beach Bar. Oliver has gives us 5 star service every time . Our kids faces light up whenever they see him and he always makes sure we feel welcome and looked after. Thanks so Much Oliver

Fantastic Customer Service, Great Amenities, but Service Can Be Slow
I recently stayed at Longbeach Mauritius, and overall, I had a great experience. The standout feature of this hotel is undoubtedly the customer service. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my stay was comfortable. I felt valued as a guest, and I appreciated that they treated everyone with equal respect, with no signs of discrimination.
The water activities and the spa were definite highlights of my stay. The range of water activities was impressive and well-organized, providing a fun and relaxing way to enjoy the surroundings. The spa was equally fantastic, offering a peaceful atmosphere and excellent treatments—perfect for unwinding after a long day.
However, I did notice that the service, particularly in the restaurant and bar service, could be a bit slow at times. While this wasn't a huge issue for me, it’s something to keep in mind if you're on a tight schedule.
Another area for improvement would be the availability of power outlets in the room. There were very few plugs, making it inconvenient to charge devices, especially in today's tech-driven world.
Despite these minor inconveniences, I believe the hotel offers good value for money. The facilities were well-maintained, and the atmosphere was relaxing. If you're looking for a place with excellent hospitality and great amenities, I would definitely recommend staying here.

My family and I were on vacay in our home country and as usual we always spend a couple of nights in a hotel. Long Beach was high on our list. Finally found a deal and we booked 2 nights.
I will start with the positive points; their rooms were very comfortable and clean. I had one of the best sleep, I even spent the whole day in bed. Their kids club is one of the best as well. We even had the option of getting a babysitter for my toddler which allowed me to truly rest, for a fee. Thank you!
The lunch option too was great, and the entertainment with live music too was nice, except not having all drinks being part of the all inclusive deals. Only pop and beer, no juice which is not great for kids.
But Truly your staff feels overwhelmed with work. From the check in point, it seems you guys are understaffed, waiting to be serve from breakfast to supper, us having to go to one of your staff to ask to be served through our stay is not acceptable. Your buffet options too feels truly underwhelming. I was not expecting the quality of your food to be that level for a 4.5 stars hotel
After our stay at Long Beach we went to a hotel with under 4 stars and our experience was far better than at Long Beach.
