Fantastic hotel. The territory is a big and beautiful park. Green, charming, and very well maintained. Hotel staff is exceptional - just best in class. Nice chill pool with cocktails. The only small downside is there is no pool for swimming, - only to chill.

This is not a five star hotel. Definitely not worth the money that they're charging you for it.
We visited it on October and our feedback was really bad.
When we checked in to our room, we quickly noticed that not only was it not clean but it was also in desperate need of renovation.
Noisy, maintenance works around and not so comfy.
The breakfast buffet was really bad because the selection of protein was extremely limited.
Like most of Phuket, this hotel attracts a very unpleasant crowd that's obnoxious and completely oblivious of their surroundings. We thought maybe staying at a 5-star hotel will make things better, but that wasn't the case.
When we were checking out, they asked how we liked our stay. We were honest and shared how we felt.
The receptionist said she can talk to the manager and see what they could do for us but the taxi was already waiting for us at the lobby so we politely declined.
Avoid this place, looks good on pictures but no one who knows what a 5-star hotel looks like would ever consider this anything close to a 5-star hotel.
AVOID!!! THIS HOTEL….

I want to make an update to my earlier review.
While there are improvements needed to the resort (from security/ staff training/ IT management), my stay for the last 3 days has been fairly comfortable.
The room that was assigned to us is dated, barely furnished, and not value for money compared to the other rooms / villas that are renovated and supposedly cheaper than our suites, but our chambermaid has not neglected the daily housekeeping to ensure the room is dust-free in every corner and I am appreciative. Over the last few days, I see all employees work very hard around the resort to keep a very large resort clean and maintained and it is only fair to be kind and give credits when it is due.
Albeit the initial poor experience at check-in, I can sense that the ground employees try their best to provide a positive experience for all their guests.
Location-wise, it is next to Karon beach so it is finely accessible to good amenities. It is a relatively good resort for families for its large space, compared to the other resorts in the vicinity as it has many reasonable amenities to keep younger guests busy.

Paradox Resort was a beautiful place to stay at. So close to the beach and also the Main Street of Karon. It is so quiet in this resort, and feels like you’re in your own little world here. The park, the pools, the restaurants were all such high quality at Paradox. Felt like such a luxurious stay and will definitely be back

Paradox was the perfect resort! In such a great location at Karon beach, on a beautiful, tropical, quiet piece of land. The resort itself is so relaxing with multiple pools to choose from throughout the property, all with poolside service from the multiple bars/restaurants onsite. The staff were always amazing, so friendly and kind and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. A special shout out to manager Art who took the time to get to know us and have a chat anytime he saw us!
We stayed in a cottage villa which was super comfortable and was everything we needed for the 10 night stay. Breakfast Buffett was exceptional every day. It is a great resort for couples and friends I believe, nice and relaxing and not too chaotic. Will definitely be back to stay again!!!
