I recently had the pleasure of staying at Santhiya Koh Yao Yai Resort and Spa, and it was a breathtaking experience! My accommodation in the building showcased stunning Thai Lanna architecture, featuring intricate wooden details and elegant design that blended beautifully with the natural surroundings.
The view from my room was incredible, overlooking the lush landscape and the shimmering Andaman Sea. Every detail of the building was thoughtfully crafted, from the traditional decor to the comfortable furnishings, creating a truly serene and inviting atmosphere.
The staff provided exceptional service, making my stay all the more special. Dining options were diverse, with fresh local cuisine that was absolutely delicious.
With its pristine beach and opportunities for kayaking and snorkeling, this resort is the perfect escape for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty. I highly recommend Santhiya Koh Yao Yai and can't wait to return!

One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible sunsets at the pier—watching the sky transform into shades of orange, pink, and purple was nothing short of magical. The resort's location offers a perfect blend of seclusion and serenity, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the island’s natural charm.
The food was another standout—fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. From traditional Thai dishes to international cuisine, every meal was a delight, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite.
Beyond the stunning scenery and delicious food, the resort offers a variety of amazing activities. Whether it was kayaking, island hopping, or simply relaxing by the pool, there was always something exciting to do.
Lastly, I cannot praise the staff enough. Their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made my experience even more special. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect.
I truly enjoyed every moment at Santhiya Koh Yao Yai Resort & Spa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and unforgettable retreat. I can’t wait to return! 🌴✨

We loved everything about this resort. We had a room in building 2, this building was within walking distance of the restaurant where breakfast is and we had a beautiful view of the ocean. The room was good, the bed was very nice and the view was amazing! At first I was worried about insects because of the wood, however, we had no problems at all with this. The shuttle that goes to the pool and beach comes regularly, we only had to wait an average of 5 minutes. The staff is incredibly friendly and the pools are beautiful. There were a bit few sunbeds, but during the time we were there we could always find one. We ate in the "village" every night, 10 minutes walk from the hotel (from the reception). Recommendations are Mama Seafood and Harris. We also rented scooters in the village for 200 tbh p.p. for 1 day.
Furthermore, the hotel transfer from the airport was super arranged and at a good rate, especially since you get out directly to the hotel so this is definitely recommended.
We can recommend this resort to everyone, it is a fantastically beautiful and quiet place with still plenty to do.

We’ve had the pleasure of staying at Santhiya Koh Yao Yai Resort & Spa twice, and both times were unforgettable. On our first visit, we stayed in a villa with a private pool, which was an absolute dream—complete privacy and luxury. This time, we opted for a room with a balcony featuring a bathtub, and the experience was just as delightful. The views from both accommodations were truly magnificent, overlooking the ocean and nearby islands, adding to the serene atmosphere.
The location is unbeatable, offering peace, beauty, and a real escape from the world—definitely 5 stars. The service remains impeccable, with the staff always friendly and eager to help, which really elevates the entire experience.
The only minor issue we encountered was the occasional cockroach in the room, which brings the room rating down to 4 stars. However, the overall stay was excellent, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a luxurious, tranquil retreat.

Fabulous suites and villas with own pool. Ocean views and 2 large pools. Beach gets crowded. Very busy hotel, family orientated. Breakfast buffet. Coice of main restaurants with similar menus. Bar code ordering against confused options. No fine dining options. Reminiscent of package holiday resort but great rooms and location.
