"Unforgettable holiday" at Pegasus Deluxe.
Before our departure to Rhodes, I checked the reviews about this hotel. I was shocked by the reports of food poisoning. It was too late to cancel, so I took medicine and bought medical insurance.
At first, everything seemed fine. We were given a nice sea-view room. But 48 hours into our stay at the hotel, I started experiencing bloating, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Even after 3 days, I still have stomach pain and can't eat normally.
The hotel manager attributed it to a virus, but I didn't take a blood test, so I can't say for sure. However, I have never felt so miserable. I was unwell for half of our holiday. I wonder why my daughter didn't get sick. She eats only cooked meals, unlike me. So, I suspect the food was the main reason. Also, guests from nearby hotels did not report any food poisoning.
The quality of the food is not great. Vegetables and fruits didn't taste fresh. There was no air conditioning in the restaurant, and they used reusable plastic glasses at the pool bar. Everyone had access to the ice cream.
The only good thing about this hotel is its location on the beachfront and the good room cleaning service. The people I met also complained about food poisoning.
After so many cases, the management should take measures to stop the spread of infection at the hotel. It should be closed for a while, and tourists shouldn't be staying there.

It’s an average hotel.
Location is ok and the staff are amazing!
All inclusive but with a few conditions. No coffee in the room and not allowed to bring drinks to the room, the funny bit is, the room has a fridge but with only one bottle of water and like I said, not allowed to bring any drinks to the room.
The room for 3, a double bed and a single sofa that converts into a small kids bed.
The shower/bath is quite small, I’m 5”6 or 1.68 and I feel a bit tight in the shower.
The all inclusive drinks is what expected for an average hotel, not very special and got to pay for them after 11pm.
Loads of families with kids so not a good place for couples.
Avoid the peak hours at the main restaurant, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Will be packed.
Expect a bit of delay on the lifts to upper floors, too busy and sometimes only one lift working.
The location is good, not far from Rhodes town, 20min away. It’s on the east side of the Island so you don’t get to see any sun set and gets darker quicker than the west side of the Island.

Beautiful hotel. Great location. Shame we both got terribly ill after 48 hours of arriving which lasted for days so we could not even appreciate the all-inclusive food/drinks. Hygiene can do with improvement in the hotel to stop the spread of illness as I heard other guests in the hotel shop also commenting how they have been very sick too.

Lovely hotel with good location, Faliraky is within walking distance and there is a bus station right in front of the hotel. The hotel needs some love in a lot of areas, but I guess they are working on it as some changes are seen compared with last year. I love the fact that this year the entertainment is different every evening. The new animation team is very nice as well.Overall, nice hotel with good food and perfect location. Hope to see you again in the future.

We stayed at Pegasus hotel which is 20 minutes walk from Faliraki center with bed and breakfast option at the end of October, so end of the season. It was a quiet time but the hotel was equipped with everything we needed. Lovely kids club, live music, open bars, inside and outside, nice variety of in between meals served near the pool, lovely beach, gym, playground etc. The hotel also organised Halloween decorations and games for kids. Staff was amazing, always helped with the smile and understanding. We had many requests, including changing the room, our initial one was with the sea view but because of loud evening entertainment between 21:30-23:00, our toddler had trouble to stay asleep, so we got a room on the other side of the hotel with partial sea view, which was perfect. We also asked few times for fruits for our toddler, since shops near by didn't have fresh fruits at stock (maybe because of end of the season), staff was always very kind allowing us to take watermelon for the little one with no charge. There was also no issue with taking few bits from breakfast to the room, if needed. We also got extended stay due to late departure, normally check out is at 11:00 and we could stay until 17:00 free of charge. Reception was also extremely helpful when we faced last minute flight cancellation resulting in few hours call, hotel staff advise me on how to deal with the situation best as they had experience with similar cases, we were fortunate to secure a convenient flight.
We were very satisfied with our stay and we highly recommend Pegasus Deluxe Hotel.
