Beautiful Resort, but Room Request Not Accommodated We stayed at Planet Hollywood and overall had a wonderful experience. It’s a beautiful resort, with excellent facilities and mostly fantastic service. That said, a couple of things did affect our stay. We specifically requested a quiet room as we have two young children, but were placed directly under the area where parties were held. The loud music, jumping, and shouting made it very difficult for the children to sleep, which was disappointing as our request hadn’t been accommodated. We spoke to reception to report the issue, but were only told that it would end in an hour — with no apology or empathy. I also had a faulty hairdryer in the room, and unfortunately a replacement was not available. On the positive side, the resort itself is gorgeous. The service in Sushi East was outstanding — truly a highlight — and the team at the Sports Bar were also brilliant. The Spa was another standout, with incredible hydrotherapy and massage treatments paired with warm, friendly service. The Kids Club was absolutely incredible, and our children loved every moment there. There were a couple of smaller service gaps: at So Cal, the breakfast area was often very busy and at times we didn’t receive coffee despite requesting it, and the Fuel Coffee Bar staff could have been a little more welcoming. Also, the Planet Play activities (trampolines, etc.) were an additional cost and quite expensive. Overall, this is a stunning resort with so much to offer. With better attention to room allocation requests, more empathy at reception, and consistency in service, it could easily be a perfect 5-star experience.

This hotel has great potential, but unfortunately the service is the weakest point of the experience. Positives: - The hotel itself is very nice, with spacious rooms and good infrastructure. - Alcohol quality is very good. - Cinema offers a great choice of films. - Swimming pool and seaside areas are excellent. - Bar service is very good. - Evening entertainment is amazing. - The welcome on arrival, with superheroes clapping and greeting, creates a fantastic first impression. Negatives: - Service is poorly organized. - Food quality is average, but the same selection often repeats for several days. Some food items have no labels — for example, three soups available, but no indication of what kind they are. Even basic organization like placing spoons far from the soup section shows a lack of attention. - Long queues at the main restaurant just to be seated. Guests often wait 10 minutes, and after experiencing this three times, we started ignore hostess as useless service . With every guest wearing a hotel wristband, hostess service feels unnecessary unless more hostesses (5–6 instead of 2) are added to speed things up. - Minibar refill is inconsistent. Unless you remind staff multiple times, it may not be refilled. - The burger restaurant near the children’s pool had a waiting time of up to one hour at lunchtime, which is unacceptable. Suggestions: - Improve food variety and labeling. - Organize restaurant service better to avoid long queues. - Ensure minibar is refilled daily without constant reminders. - Reduce waiting times at themed restaurants. - Keep superheroes in the lobby all the time — this creates a stronger atmosphere than idle staff elsewhere.

I recently stayed at Planet Hollywood Cancun and, unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. I’m not sure if it was due to a lack of staff or the quality of workers, but overall, the experience was frustrating. At the pool bar, I waited about 15 minutes just to get a drink, and when I was finally helped, the bartenders often had an unfriendly attitude. I paid extra for the Star Class, but honestly, it didn’t feel worth the additional cost. The dining experiences were hit-or-miss. The Italian restaurant was especially disappointing, with both the food and service falling far below expectations. The only consistently great meals were at the steakhouse and the Japanese restaurant. On the positive side, the spa was incredible. Betty was so attentive and kind, making the experience relaxing and memorable. The spa facilities were spotless and inviting. My butler, Molly, was also amazing — despite the negative encounters I had during my stay, she went out of her way to try and make things better. Overall, while there were a few bright spots, I can’t say I’d return given the inconsistent service and overall lack of value for the money spent.

The resort was very family-friendly, though it felt like most guests were either little kids or 18/19 year olds—not much in between. I really appreciated the Star Class upgrade: staff were very attentive (sometimes *too* attentive with calls, texts, and knocks). Since I was with my son, it worked out fine, but it could feel intrusive for couples. The room was spotless—Clorox wipes came up clean—and the buffet food was consistently hot, which was a first for me at an all-inclusive. Drinks were the biggest letdown; only champagne and wine did the trick, mixed drinks were a waste. One frustration: the timeshare push. You’re given coupons only after being approached multiple times (notes, texts, hall stops) to get your “free gift.” Then they tell you bigger gifts come if you attend a meeting. A useful coupon was \$50 off \$100 in logo shop items, but the whole process was pretty annoying. Overall: very clean, great for families who like attentive service, but not the place for strong cocktails or peace from sales pitches.

We went as a family of 7 ages 20-80 and had an amazing time. We stayed Star Class Adult Scene and had an exceptional experience. Our Butlers- Susy and Molly took exceptional care of us. They went above and beyond to make sure our family had a terrific time! They met our every need and the word "no" is not in their vocabulary. We rented a cabana for several days as well, and Roger and Marco took exceptional care of us by our cabana and pool. I highly recommend this resort -and staying Star Class. The staff is exceptional, the rooms are large and clean. Overall great time!
