The Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island premium all-inclusive programme includes the following:

  • Buffet breakfast at Turquoise (7am to 11am)
  • Buffet lunch at Turquoise (12.30pm to 3:30pm)
  • Buffet dinner at Turquoise (7pm to 10pm) or a la carte dinner at Orient, Aja, L’Olivo and Mermaid (additional charges apply for the live teppanyaki show at Aja (Under 4s are free) and table reservation at a la carte restaurants, with the exception of People’s)

⭐ 2 out of 5 – Disappointing experience and unfriendly visitor policy I was honestly very disappointed with my experience at this hotel. My family of six is staying here, and I simply wanted to spend time with them — but the hotel’s visitor policy makes that almost impossible. A day pass costs AED 695 from 9 AM to 6 PM, with no discounts or flexible options for family members of in-house guests. The price includes breakfast and lunch, but if you arrive later and skip breakfast, you can’t exchange it for dinner or get any reduction. And if you wish to stay after 6 PM, you must pay an additional AED 500+ — just to continue being with your loved ones. This is extremely unreasonable. If we had known about these conditions, we would have chosen a different hotel. On top of that, the room maintenance and service were very disappointing. The phone in the room didn’t work ,we requested water but never received it, the bathroom door was stuck, and the room cards stopped working. A staff member helped us enter the room and promised to send someone to replace the cards, but no one ever came — we had to go to reception ourselves. The situation became even worse when my day pass expired — instead of calling politely to offer an extension, the staff started following us around the restaurant and kids’ club, even after we had already paid to extend the pass. It was extremely uncomfortable and felt like being treated as if I had done something wrong. Finally, the food was very average — nothing special compared to other buffet-style hotels. For reference, dinner at Atlantis The Royal costs around AED 370 per person and is on a completely different level in terms of quality and service. Overall, what should have been a pleasant family time turned into a frustrating experience. The hotel needs to seriously reconsider its visitor policy and improve communication and hospitality standards.

Absolutely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had! The staff were incredibly courteous and attentive. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The food was top-notch with great variety. Every corner of the property felt luxurious and well cared for. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, class, and quality service.

Rixos Premium at Saadyiat Island is a beautiful old hotel, the architecture is amazing. However, service could be better and also the hotel shoul be maintained better. During our stay we smelled a weird mouldy smell in some corridors and also in our room - probably from air condition. Room service was not ideal and it was difficult to explain to them some things since they did not understand English well. For example, they have a pillow menu, but the personell did not understand what the down/feather pillow is. They brough us pillows 3 times but none of them was the one we asked for. Or they did not provide enough towels etc. Beach service was ok. The beach is beautiful with white sand and also the sea is very clean. It is all inclusive hotel and you can also choose to eat in a la carte restaurants - couple of dinners are included - depending on the lenght of stay. The food in main, buffet style restaurant was ok. From a la carte restaurants, food in Marmaid restaurant as well as in japanese restaurant was amazing.

Absolutely beautiful haven!!! Very gorgeous place!!! It's my first time where I couldn't find any minuses at all. Thank you so much to all staff for amazing job! Thank you so much to Lyubov from reception, to Bishoraj from beach bar, to Christine and Islam from lobby bar for their Very beautiful work! All departments are working so hard to make guests happy!!! Definitely recommend to everyone and absolutely wil be coming back!

Very disappointed ! Much better other hotels in Abu Dhabi ! Hotel gives vibes of stinginess…. The rooms need to be renovated. The beds are not comfortable. In other hotels we always have little gifts for our baby, along with shower gel and shampoo for baby. Here, nothing. No welcome gift either for adults. No chocolates on the bed in the evening. The water temperature of the pools was cold. When you arrive to the sunbeds, there is no one to greet you and take you to your place with towels. No sun cream, no water offered. The restaurants were quite disappointing And the wine selection was sub-par. For the first evening you cannot go to an à la carte restaurant, they impose you to go to the buffet. The only positive thing was the phillipinos waiters who are very nice. The room was not ready at check-in 15:00. Also we had our flight late in the evening we asked for a late checkout which was not granted and the receptionist suggested booking another night (!). Massage is approx 200€ for 50 minutes which is a total rip off, in other hotels it is around 120€ for 60 minutes. I always book a massage for myself, I did not here ! I don’t recommend this hôtel !
