Royal Central Hotel - The Palm

We completely loved our stay at royal central. The hotel is beautiful even more beautiful than the pictures with great views! Our room was amazing and we really enjoyed the food at the breakfast and the restaurants with many gluten free options. I want specifically thank the amazing Hadia for making everything possible to help my partner arrange the engagement proposal of my dreams. We will never forget what you did for us! We can’t thank you enough! Special thanks also to Kevin for always making sure we have everything we need and the rest of the staff who celebrate with us and made us feel so special. Its was an unforgettable experience!

Good hotel, but for me, it’s not 5 stars. Perfect location, nice design, but some basic things disappointed us. For example, the water pressure in the shower was poor, and the water temperature was inconsistent (even though we stayed on the third floor, where it shouldn’t be this bad). The balcony was also dirty. The restaurant was nice, especially the one across from the buffet. However, they don’t seem to hurry to clean the tables: we came to an absolutely empty restaurant — we were the only guests — and sat at a table that turned out to be dirty. Then they brought us bread that seemed reheated and like it was from the day before (we didn’t pay for it, but it’s better to serve fresh and tasty bread or nothing at all). The main course was good, though. But the cheesecake was terrible — I tried it and didn’t eat it. By comparison, the cheesecake at the small dessert stand next to the buffet was very delicious. Overall, it’s okay, but not great. If you’re planning to visit the water park on the Palm, this hotel is fine for a couple of days, but after that, it’s better to stay somewhere more comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay. Warm, attentive staff made every moment delightful. Phillip in particular was exceptional; he gave us ideas on the best sites, the best transport mode to navigate, and accessing Mpesa services. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with luxury touches. Dining was a highlight, with superb flavours and variety. Perfectly located for exploring, with helpful concierge services. Exceptional hospitality—highly recommend!

We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. However, the drink service at the beginning was not quite optimal. After a constructive conversation with some managers, a solution was quickly found. I appreciated that my concerns were heard professionally and addressed to the best of their ability. While perfection is unattainable, the service improved significantly thanks to my feedback, coming very close to perfection. A special thanks goes to Rosaly, Bruno, Kevin, and the entire team for their valuable advice. What started as initial dissatisfaction turned into an overall excellent stay. Thank you for the great experience, and keep up the good work!

Really nice hotel. Beautiful rooms with a good view and not too small. Only problem were the elevators. Many times you need to wait nearly up to 10 min til an elevator will pick you up. Breakfast was nice, many people but always enough at the buffet. Location is good but you need a taxi to do something All in all a good and recommendable Hotel :)
