    Beautiful Resort with Minor Issues - First Visit to Sandals Royal Barbados My husband and I recently stayed at Sandals Royal Barbados for our first Sandals experience, and overall, we had a wonderful time. From the moment we checked in until departure, the service was excellent and the resort itself is absolutely stunning. The property is beautifully maintained with gorgeous grounds, excellent amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay, which really enhanced our experience. However, there were a couple of issues worth noting. The phone in our room was not working for our entire stay, which made it difficult to contact the front desk or have means to communication (especially if we had an emergency) without leaving the room. For a resort of this caliber, having functioning in-room communication is important. Additionally, we were disappointed with the photography package. For the cost of the photos, we expected at least some basic editing, but the images we received appeared to have zero edits or retouching applied, which didn't seem to justify the price point. Despite these concerns, we still had a great experience overall. The beauty of the resort and the quality of service in most areas made for a memorable first visit to Sandals. With a few improvements in these areas, it would be absolutely perfect. Would we return? Yes, but we'd hope these issues are addressed for future guests.

    We went and enjoyed our honeymoon at the royal side at sandles resort . My husband and I had an amazing time. The resort was absolutely gorgeous. they did so many things for us the spa was amazing. Our three butlers that we had were absolutely amazing

    What a fabulous resort!! Ideal location and the beach is right on your doorstep!! Rooms are very spacious and beds were very comfy. All the staff were absolutely amazing and so helpful and friendly. Food was outstanding!! Plenty of restaurants on the resort to choose from and they have something for everyone and nothing was a problem. Adult only resort so very chilled and peaceful. Would definitely recommend for the ultimate peaceful and tranquil experience.

    We have had a great honeymoon!! Huge shoutout to Oshin at the Oasis bar she was the best bartender we had all week. So kind & welcoming! & she made the absolute best drinks we had during our stay! We want to come back just to see Oshin! 🩷

    My husband and I went here for our honeymoon last week. We had butler service, it was okay but I don’t think we would do it again. They didn’t really check in on us that often. Could have been a little more involved. We had some friends and their butlers were on top of it, so compared to them ours were not really there. Didn’t try to communicate more than phone if food was done or something was dropped off. Was more of a surprise when we would go back and sit down. Our room had a pretty view and was quiet but could use some tlc. The couch was very dirty on the bottom near the ground.. like it had water/mud around it and dried like that. We had ordered some food for room service a couple times and it took a lot longer than it should have. We asked for it to be there by a certain time and both times were around 30-40 mins later. We understand being busy but thought that was kind of interesting. The drinks were good ( Oshin was the best .. our favorite bartender.) Whenever she made our drinks we knew they’d be so good. Friendly, sweet, and personable. You can tell she likes her job and what she does. Some other workers were not so nice but most are. We had a couples massage, that was nice. To be fair half of this was on us for not asking about massage but it would’ve been nice to know it wasn’t included. It would be a good thing for the resort to have a little more to do rather than just bowling. Maybe have more karaoke, and more night life. Just a lot of money to spend but not quite enough to make it feel like it was worth spending that much. Overall very pretty resort and trip. We had a great time. Oh and our bus driver RICARDO was great, funny, and kept the energy up .
