I recently stayed at Wyndham Sam Lord’s Castle in Barbados, and I can say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, everything was just perfect.
The property itself is stunning, modern with the charm of the island. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and clean.
The food was absolutely amazing. The buffet offered a great variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. While there is only one additional dinner spot outside the buffet, which could use some expansion, the overall dining experience was still excellent.
Every staff member I encountered was super friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their warmth and hospitality truly made the trip special.
Overall, Wyndham Sam Lord’s Castle is a fantastic stay with luxurious accommodations, great food, and amazing service. I can’t wait to return! Would highly recommend!

I recently stayed at this resort in January 2025 with 3 of my girl friends (aged 25).
Pros:
-Stunning resort with a beautiful outlook to the beach.
-Ease of transportation supplied by the resort with a fee.
-Adult drinks were good.
-Resort was clean and provided four pools in different areas.
-The Castle View restaurant on the resort was pretty inside and outside.
-Great resort for pictures.
-Majority of staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons:
-Buffet food was average at best.
-Limited reservations at restaurants.
-Swim up pool bar was closed.
-Limited activities for night life.
-Very remote from off-resort activities (30-50 minutes from most areas).
-Some staff did not want to be bothered to assist you.
-Resort taxis were expensive ($55 for a one-way 20 minute trip).
Overall, I would stay there again, however I would first check out other resorts that are closer to the town.

Our stay at the Wyndham Grand Barbados was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and unparalleled hospitality. The hotel itself is immaculate and beautifully designed, providing an atmosphere of luxury and relaxation.
The location is perfect, nestled in the scenic beauty of Long Bay. The breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea are something I'll cherish forever.
Service was consistently exceptional throughout our stay. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure our comfort. Special thanks to the concierge team for making all our reservations and activities seamless and enjoyable.
The culinary experiences were a delight—every meal was a gastronomic adventure. Whether we were dining at the elegant in-house restaurants or enjoying snacks by the pool, the quality and variety of the food exceeded our expectations.

We spent a week here with my family around Christmas 2024. This resort is kind of at the wrong side of the island! At its beach, Waves was always too big to swim, actually dangerous! The beach full with sea weeds all the time, didn’t see anyone cleaning in the whole week, and rocky. Twice a week 30 plus minutes bus takes you to the other side of the island, beaches are claim and beautiful! Christmas Eve was quiet like a normal Monday night! Only one restaurant you can book and it’s booked for next 3 days! and one buffet and a smaller pool side buffet, menu all week was the same! that all! Definitely very overpriced compared with our many years many different places resorts! Room was ok and stuff was friendly. I have to say If you looking for a family trip with kids to a beach resort this is wrong place to go!
