I’m staying at the hotel now and can’t express my disappointment enough with this hotel. This hotel has far the worst customer service I have ever experienced! The staff at buffet and the bar are careless, negligent, and has zero customer service skills. First of all we waited for our room about 2 hours after checking in as they said that the room wasn’t ready even though it was after 4 pm. Also every time you are at the restaurant, buffet or the bar , the staff tries to avoid helping you and you always have to wait for your drinks and to place an order for a long time. The hotel staff eats at the buffet while guests eat there. The hotel staff act reckless and don’t attend to guests needs. We had to ask to replenish our fridge with water for 3 days. Our door to the balcony and the tv were not working and we had to ask the front desk staff about 3 times for several days before it was resolved. It definitely not worth the money. I’m not recommending this place and will never come back to this hotel again.

This is a really beautiful hotel and resort tucked away from the touristy side of the island. You’ll be able to rest in a comfortable room which is very updated as the hotel is only a year old. They have decent food for an all inclusive. You’ll notice where they do and don’t take shortcuts for example the water’d down juices they serve. Beach is gorgeous however the ocean on this side is a tad aggressive here to swim in. With 3 pools on the property you’ll still be able to enjoy the weather. The service although not very fast is decent and for the most part everyone is friendly. The old castle is cool to look at and with the local history behind it.

A little delayed on this review, but long overdue.
This resort is absolutely everything I hoped for. Started off with a glass of champagne before the fish fry Friday night. Enjoyed a massage, and the pools. Lunch is best poolside. The grab and go breakfast option is superb quality, as is the food all around, especially at the castle restaurant.
If you want a late night meal/snack/drinks - Check out the fridge across from check in.
Employees are friendly and helpful. You can book activities directly through them which is advisable, as a taxi is $50USD each way to Bridgetown. The night sub ride and turtle snorkeling- highly recommended.
I was even upgraded to a top floor room as a loyalty member and couldn’t appreciate that more. It’s always frustrating paying for the price of two when I’m one, but these added touches including a birthday welcome platter was amazing. Thank you so much and can’t wait to return. Solo or with Family and friends in the winter.

Stayed at this resort at the end of November/beginning of December. Great resort but not quite 5 star yet, due to lack of amenities and service. The resort itself is beautiful but the service could be improved as it is not consistent. Staff seemed disorganized possibly due to a lack of supervision/training or not enough staff for the size of the resort. But there are a lot of positives if you just want to chill and bask in the sun. The pools and the grounds were pristine although not much bar service around the pools. The swim up bar is not in service yet but hopefully will be operational soon. Bartenders were very busy trying to fill orders but the drinks were excellent and made to order (not premixed). Shoutout to Mario who made awesome drinks and was always friendly and hospitable. The buffet was excellent at breakfast with an abundance of fresh fruit, pastries and made to order eggs, pancakes and French toast amongst other things. Cappuccinos and specialty coffees were available freely. The grill was great for lunch with excellent burgers, fries and tacos. Service was slow and it was hard to find a table but it was worth the wait. The fine dining restaurant was fantastic, the menu was top notch and the service was good. Easily the best spot for dinner if you could get in. They also have a breakfast menu incase the buffet was too busy but this was not advertised anywhere. Communication about current activities at the resort could be improved as their current web page is not updated regularly. The rooms were very nice and modern with big balconies. It would be great to have some loungers to enjoy the balcony more as the current chairs were very uncomfortable. Only drawback to the room was that the bathtub and shower offered no privacy as there was a window into the bathroom from the main living area. Housekeeping was a hit or miss, but generally good. Entertainment was decent and the outdoor cookout was fantastic. Beach is nice but the ocean was rough and not swimmable during our stay, although there is a lifeguard on duty. The hotel does offer a free shuttle to another beach which was calm and beautiful. Resort itself was very windy but it was a warm breeze which helped keep you cool. No gift shop at the hotel to buy essentials which is unfortunate, hopefully plans are in place to add this in the near future. Overall our stay was mostly pleasant despite a few hiccups during the check in process.

Spent 7 nights here on a vacation with my daughter, and we had a fantastic time. The room was fantastic, but I would suggest adding a dresser for clothes. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent.
The food was excellent. We just stuck to the buffet for breakfast and dinner, and we enjoyed it every day. I can't speak to lunch, as we spent the days off resort. Not once did we have a bad meal.
There are 3 pools, and all of them were clean and had an excellent comfortable water temperature. There were lots of umbrellas/deck chairs, and no shortage of towels available.
I spent lots of time at the pool bar, and visited the Burnt Cask as well. Drinks were fantastic. Aside from beer, I recommend the Passion Fruit Mojitos. Delicious.
What really makes this resort is the staff. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, every staff member we met was amazing. Very friendly, helpful, and good at their jobs. From reception, to servers/bartenders, to housekeeping, to the concierge...every last one of them was A+ for us.
This resort is a little off the beaten path, so there is not a lot close. I highly recommend renting a car for your trip if you plan on going off resort. There are some available shuttles and excursions. We did a snorkelling trip with Cool Runnings and they were excellent. Chris the concierge set it all up for us.
I absolutely would come here again and recommend it to anyone.
