We are writing this while at the resort while under Preferred and VIP status at the resort. We just got married here at the resort on Saturday and are honeymooning as well. My wife's phone was stolen while we were eating at the hibachi restaurant. The staff has been everything but helpful on returning it or refunding us the amount of the stolen phone. We were told our room had to searched even though we hadn't been there for hours. This review may have been more than 1 star if the staff that we talked to were more helpful, but it was a 45 minute process to get nowhere with no apologizes. I hope I can change this review if the phone is returned or if we get a refund in the amount of the phone. You'd think that for a wedding couple and preferred customers you'd get a lot better treatment, especially at such a resort. If something does not change, we will continue to complain and never return to a Secrets.

I definitely enjoyed staying at Secrets. I’ve stayed here twice now. My favorite show is the origin show that k really love! The fish tacos at the pool grill are delicious! I love that you can go to the restaurants at the sister hotel dreams. I recommend the stay!

It's a nice resort and you'll have a good time but there are some flaws that people should be aware of. There are a lot of conferences at this resort and they usually take up a lot of space and make a lot of noise. The entertainment
Team is okay, but the schedule is horrible. They do not have events at the time that's displayed, and one show was canceled with no warning. The food was good. The 2 resorts were both good, drinks were good, overall it was a good experience. I tried to give the front desk my feedback about the entertainment team and event start time issues and they didn't seem like they took my feedback that seriously, so the front desk could be improved.
It was a good experience overall, but excellence resorts are bettrr. I believe those are the only downsides is that there are a lot of conferences which takes away from the romantic vibe and entertainment team and start times were so bad.

Had an excellent stay! The rooms were pretty good (dated but will be getting an overhaul in 2025), the pools/grounds were great, the drinks and food were quite good. What made our visit particularly memorable was the service we received; the staff (drivers, bellmen, front desk staff, baristas, servers, concierges) were great! I would like to thank Sabrina (front desk), and Alejandro & Martha (concierge) in particular for their impeccable service.

Great service, hotel is a little dated, needs a re-vamp but overall nice holiday. Would recommend secrets hotels 👍🏽. The dream hotel next door was a great addition to the hotel- being able to access there restaurants and pools added to the hotel. They also had dolphin encounter & lots of activities on, great entertainment team. However the food was not good at our main hotel ( secrets) the food next door at (dreams) was much nicer and we ate their most of the time -( most of the food pictures will be from dreams hotel restaurants)
