Before we arrived I was nervous due to the fact there were such terrible reviews.
The resort definitely needs to improve in some areas. The Italian restaurant is not good.
The sports bar needs a make over.
The pools are not freezing cold like all the reviews say. The beach is nice.
The transportation to the beach is wait but the ride itself is like a tour of the beach side of Tulum which was cool.
The grotto which is preferred only food was very good and drinks also.
Jasmine breakfast is also preferred but at night it’s Asian food open to everyone and is very good.
Almost every night secrets Tulum does themed buffets on the spa rooftop and I have to admit they were nice staff and good food we did Mexican night and also a Caribbean night.
The steak house is outdoors and very nice food was good also.
Yes this secrets is not like some of the other secrets but it’s definitely better then dreams and all resorts have there pros &cons.
We had a great time and I recommend ppl to come and see for yourself What Secrets Tulum has to offer

I don’t know where to even start with this review, if I could give a 0 I would!!! The minute we walked into the resort they shuttled us over to someone that tried to sell us on a “better” resort, all we had to do was listen to a 2 hour talk about it. In this all inclusive resort means you won’t get any service until 11:00am and even when they open you’ll be lucky to have anyone even approach you.
They push you to use the app to book any activity or services. We booked two separate massages and they got canceled because we didn’t confirm these, even though we booked through the app. When we finally got our massages they set us up in a couple massage even though we were there on a girls trip.
We ended up having to change rooms because of the horrible sulfur smell. The manager turned it around on us as if we were just changing rooms for fun and got extremely loud with us. When we finally got to our new room after waiting for 2 hours it was dirty and on top of that the bathroom didn’t have a door and there was black mold growing by the shower.
The beach was the highlight of the trip, however they don’t tell you that it is about 25 min on a very bumpy ride through the town. They also tell you that it is a private beach for members only meaning you won’t have people trying to sell you items every minute of your stay on the beach. Untrue!
The people that worked there were kind but I think they are told to just nod their head and walk away so you think you are getting service. Many times we would request a drink or snack and they would nod and say yes and we’d never see them again. There were constantly dirty towels and drinks from the night before every morning we would go to the pool. This was by far the worst all inclusive I have ever experienced.
I would never recommend this resort to anyone and will never be back.

We had a great stay here at our first all inclusive resort. The food at the restaurants for dinner was delicious. Their rock shrimp dish is to die for!! We took the shuttle to their beach club which was super clean, had lots of beds, clean bathrooms and good food but service was slow. They do have events some of which we enjoyed like the silent disco. The only negative was the temperature in the pools was not regulated hence it was pretty cold to even use any of the 9 pools. We had the room where you can walk out to the pool which I would not recommend getting for the price since the water was too cold to enjoy. But definitely would still recommend the resort for a nice, relaxing vacation!

We enjoyed our trip to Secrets Tulum. The resort was clean, the rooms were great, good pools/variety, and the beach club was stunning. The shuttle is only 15 minutes to the beach and theres lots of options for food/shopping along the beach road off resort. The entertainment team was wonderful, especially Samara, Luna, and Aldo. We had lots of fun with trivia, bingo, and aqua spin! We also had amazing service from our concierge, Fernando. He did everything he could to ensure a great trip!
The food events on the terrace were fun and tasty but overall the resort is lacking in quality and variety of food options. It needs at least 1 more restaurant especially with Olio restaurant being a real low point. Service was also quite inconsistent. It seemed like more help was needed especially at the main pool area.

The catering team exceeded our expectations with a delicious menu that catered to all dietary needs. Many guests commented on how the food and arrangement was not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious.
The event coordinator was phenomenal, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. They worked closely with us to create a personalized experience that truly reflected my daughter and her partner’s vision.
