We’re so glad we chose to stay at Shangri-La. The staff were incredibly attentive, helpful, and always ready to assist. I unexpectedly developed a food allergy during our stay, and the team made note of it in their system the very next day — such thoughtful and efficient service. Kushi was our favorite restaurant, with Harry as the head chef — the set menu he specially curated for us was absolutely amazing. There are plenty of excursion offered by the resort with Catamaran being our favourite as they have a live band on board with food provided. From snorkelling in sky blue waters to chasing dolphin, everything was amazing. There is a private island as part of Shangri-La that are only accessible by guests which was great and wasn’t overcrowded. Overall, a 10/10 experience curated by the staffs of Shangri-La Mauritius.

My stay at this resort was one of the best experiences ever. The place is amazing and never feels boring. The room views are stunning, and the facilities are beautiful and very clean. The staff is extremely friendly, making you feel welcome at every moment. The level of cleanliness was excellent, and the food was incredibly delicious, thanks to the creativity of Chef Ahmed. Thank you for this wonderful experience.I will definitely be back soon.

Everything was amazing in every aspect—the food, and the breakfast here is amazing! the restaurants, the service, and the staff were incredibly kind. Also the beach is clean ( No grass) Honestly, I saw Mauritius from a completely different perspective; it was absolutely beautiful

What was once considered the best 5 star hotel in Mauritius; it seems to have lost its touch! Beautiful grounds and setting; but the rooms and food will leave you disappointed, when compared to other 5 star hotels in Mauritius!! The rooms are in need of an upgrade, specially the bathrooms; which could do with some minor maintenance!! Sound proofing in the rooms is non-existent!! The food side, breakfast buffet is very good, but dinners, besides for the Japanese restaurant and desert in the buffet, is very average!!
