We have never been to a more relaxing resort. The island is simply like nothing we’ve ever experienced. The staff were amazing. The food was excellent. We stayed 3 nights in a villa on the sun rise side and 2 nights on the sunset side and both were beautiful but quite different. On the sunrise side we could hear the beautiful sound of the ocean in our Villa but the water was choppier. The sunset side was calmer and we got to watch the sunset. Although we did also enjoy sunset at the beach bar. The beds were very comfortable and the cleaning staff amazing. Highly recommend

Without question the most beautiful hotel and resort I have ever been to. From the moment you arrive you feel like you are the most important person on the island but not in an overpowering way more so the gentle nature of the people checking if you are OK and showing you around. The welcome on the jetty complete with cocktails and music just sets the tone foe this place that can only be described as paradise. The rooms are huge and of incredible standard. My room had direct access to the beach private pool outdoor shower and bath and a bed that could sleep the whole family! The choice and standard of food were incredible. Breakfast was so good you could skip lunch of needed! That said, the beach bar is so lovely and relaxed for lunch alongside the largest infinity pool in the Maldives! Dinner was incredible, lots of choice with stunning ovean views. The spa was fantastic with migma giving the best massage ever! The island is so pretty with incredible snorkeling the best people and service. I will never forget it and.i cannot wait to return

I cannot say enough about this beautiful resort, DO NOT hesitate or have any qualms about booking. Absolutely everything, from the rooms (so lovely with your own little deck and pool) to the exquisite dining to the spectacular reef, all of it is top notch. The service is extraordinary and the staff works very hard to make this a truly memorable experience. They definitely go out of their way to make sure you are having a remarkable vacation. As well, I have never seen such a hands on manager, Narelle is a gem and makes a point of connecting and checking on you throughout your stay. So many of the servers (Jeet, Faresh and many others) made our stay a 10/10. We have stayed at many Fairmont resorts, but this was by far our most remarkable stay, one we will not soon forget. We would head back in a heartbeat.

My parents and I just got back from an unforgettable maldives vacation. Highly recommended resort, they provided excellent service from the day we arrived at the airport til we reached the resort all the staffs are very accommodating and attentive. We stayed in 2 bedroom Water Villa Sunset with Pool perfect for family like us it will give u high privacy and each villa has private pool perfect place to do floating breakfast with ocean view and the rooms are very spacious. Foods are superb kudos to the chefs and staffs for taking care of us during our stay. Also must try the snorkeling in Coralarium. Other than that, we appreciate all the effort from the staff to make our stay a very memorable one.

I had this trip booked for 6 months.
My wife & I booked a Grand Water Sunset Villa for our Honeymoon as my wife wears the Hijab(Muslim). I was very much hoping we could enjoy beautiful sunsets together from the luxury of our villa & pool. But first hour upon arriving I noticed the sun was setting so we went outside to take a look from our pool. We noticed that our villa was nowhere near the sight of the sunset and I told our butler at the time, Azim about this and he claimed that the sun shifted which is why we didn’t get the view. So they moved us to another villa the next morning but it was still the same; no view of the sunset even though it was very sunny outside with little to no clouds. I kept bringing it up and management played hot potato with this issue for several days. Then they decide to offer subpar compensation that nowhere near matched the extra I paid for a villa with a sunset view. They only offered excursions and other things after more than three quarters of our vacation had passed. Which left us with little time to plan for the poorly compensated plans they left us with no choice but to accept. Yet not all of them were completed and they refused to rectify the situation after abundant complaints we made from the first hour we arrived to the resort.
It was promised many times that the villa would have a sunset view and even says so on their website. So if this experience was not going to be allowed due to what they call natural occurrences… then they should have let us know through email as I was in contact with them & the agents I booked with over the course of 6 months. I would have changed my villa and/our package I had.
The food on their menu is overpriced and the buffet they held had the same food everyday with little changes. It was tasty but one gets bored of eating the same thing for a whole week. The foods in their buffet were made in batches composed of the lowest end of fine dining to save them some money.
They overcharge everything on the island as you have no choice but to accept what they offer which is very little and the bare minimum of what a supposed 5 star resort is expected of.
This resort left a bad taste in my mouth and I will make sure everyone knows of this. Quite ludicrous how management bounced this issue between each other to try and resolve it with the least cost effective options available. & they only tried resolving it after most of our stay had passed.
