I was incredibly excited about my much-awaited annual vacation to the Maldives and Taj Coral Reef made it all the more special and memorable from the moment we arrived. Arrival & Check-In: Our experience began with a warm welcome at the airport where we were greeted with name signage, followed by a comfortable one-hour speedboat transfer. What truly stood out was the in-villa check-in, a seamless and luxurious start to our stay. We had booked a Water Villa for 4 nights and the view of the Indian Ocean was simply breathtaking. The personalized welcome message and bed décor from Taj added a lovely, thoughtful touch. Accommodation & Service: Our villa was stocked with a well-maintained mini bar and snacks. The turn-down service was always on time and the staff made sure our villa was spotless and welcoming throughout our stay. The villa itself was spacious, beautifully designed and gave us the perfect setting to relax and soak in the calm, peaceful vibe of the Maldives. Dining: We had an incredible culinary journey across the resort's three restaurants - Bokkura, Open Grill and Reef Bar. Each offered a variety of cuisines including Indian, Asian, Local Maldivian, European, Mediterranean, Mexican and Italian. From lavish breakfast spreads to indulgent lunches and dinners, we truly ate and drank to our heart’s content. The resort offers premium alcohol options – beers, wines, whiskey and the staff were always ready with recommendations. Activities & Spa: We enjoyed snorkeling sessions, dolphin cruise and the Male city tour. I also had the pleasure of visiting the Spa, where I was treated by Dipa, who previously served at Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai. She was outstanding! Truly one of the best spa treatments I've ever had. A special thanks to Durlav, the Spa Manager, for being so warm and going beyond his role to help us plan our itinerary with great suggestions. Staff & Hospitality: The people at Taj Coral Reef made our stay unforgettable. A few names that stood out: Abigail, Imali, and Reehan - who greeted us daily and went above and beyond to offer the best food and drink recommendations. Abigail’s service in particular was exceptional. Zaki (Front Office) - who welcomed us with an in-room check-in and gave us a great overview of the resort and activities. Tariq (Restaurant Manager) - who frequently checked in with us during our meals and ensured we had a great experience. Mr. Nitin Walia (Resort Manager) – who personally stopped by to greet us, which was a lovely gesture and truly appreciated. Their warm and interactive approach made us feel completely at home. Every single team member we interacted with was courteous, thoughtful and professional. Final Thoughts: From the airport pickup to the in-villa service, exceptional dining, top-notch spa and warm, attentive staff, Taj Coral Reef Maldives offered us one of the finest hospitality experiences we've ever had. A perfect blend of luxury, comfort and genuine care - we left with beautiful memories and full hearts. Thank you, Taj Coral Reef, for making our vacation magical!

Me and my partner we were on our honeymoon trip. Had a great experience living in this beautiful island with great service, amazing warm welcome and high class hospitality from all the staff members. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, greeting us with warm big smiles and a nice complimentary drink upon check in. The accommodation was nothing short of luxurious. Room was spacious, elegantly decorated for our honeymoon celebration and equipped with all the high tech modern techs. Had a best experience of beach side dinner with all inclusive drink packages. Overall, our stay at Taaj Coral Reef exceeded all the expectations. Must recommended to everyone to experience luxurious staycation in this property.

Taj Coral Reef Resort & Spa – A Lovely Experience I had an amazing stay at the Taj Coral Reef &Spa Resort. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the welcoming and friendly staff, who were always ready to assist with anything I needed. Their customer service was top-notch, making my experience truly special. The resort itself is beautiful, with all the amenities you could ask for. The facilities were well-maintained and comfortable, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay. A special mention goes to the Chef Mr. Prakash, who made sure all our dining requirements were met. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal felt like a treat. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would love to return.

A wonderfully serene location with genuinely caring hospitality. My family and I enjoyed a marvellously relaxing 10-day stay at the Taj Coral Reef in the Maldives. We stayed in two beach villas located right on the beachfront. Generous in size and comfort, each villa had a private patio with a table for two, a spacious sofa, two sun loungers, and a dreamy hammock where I spent endless hours unwinding. The bathrooms were well-appointed with a double shower and separate tub, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the A/C worked very efficiently. We also appreciated thoughtful touches such as Bluetooth speakers in the room. One suggestion would be to provide internet connectivity on the TVs to keep up with modern habits. The rooms are cleaned regularly and are very comfortable, though I would suggest some update of the decor is likely due. The food at the resort was ample and consistently tasty. I highly recommend the Indian menu, which was varied and prepared to the standard of a high-end restaurant. The dishes represent many regions of India and are gloriously generous with their spices (watch out for the Maldivian chilli!). In a very personal gesture, the chef makes it a point to visit each guest, which is a reflection of the hospitality we experienced throughout the resort. The staff truly made us feel like welcomed guests in their home. Many are Maldivian, and their warmth and pride in sharing their world shone through. Najah at the main restaurant took extra special care of our family, remembering our preferences and ensuring we always felt looked after. Saman, an avid snorkeller, was a cheerful presence who shared his daily adventures with us. Imali and Abigail greeted us with radiant smiles and genuine friendliness, while Rana at the Bar and Grill kept us laughing with his quick wit and charm. Shehan, a talented bartender, crafted beautifully presented cocktails that were a highlight of our evenings. Both at the bar and in the restaurants, staff were patient and gracious with our endless alterations and special requests (thank you and apologies!). I’d also like to mention Hussain, Madu, Looth, Sneha, and the rest of the restaurant team, who cared for us so attentively and happily. The snorkelling at the resort is top-notch, with the island surrounded by a reef teeming with a rich variety of marine life. You’ll encounter black-tipped and white-tipped reef sharks (completely safe), which are just as fascinating to watch from the reception villa in the evenings as they glide through the shallows. Do not miss the sunset cruise on the Dhoni, a captivating hour-long circle around the island with breathtaking views. Another special experience is the night sky, a uniquely glorious sight from this equatorial vantage point. I would love to see the resort add a telescope, something that alone would bring me back! Finally, the sweetest touch came as we departed - the reception staff gathered to wave us goodbye as the speedboat pulled away, leaving us with the sense that they would miss us as much as we would miss them. We spent a week in this beautifull resort. We celebrated our 10th anniversary and my birthday. Everything was amazing. The beach house, the ocean, the food, the staff. I would like to give a special thank to the chef Prakash who made our celebration special. All the food was briliant. He is really kind and helpfull. All the staff is always really nice. We loved the waitress from the beach nar Imuka? I cant reměber the exact name, but she was from sri lanka and was always laughing. Thank you for an unforgetable anniversary. We hope we can come back.
