The Dubai EDITION

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in years. From a painfully slow, disorganized check in process to staff who were both rude and dishonest, my stay was fraught with issues from the very start. Our group booking for eight rooms (four of which were suites) quickly turned into a logistical nightmare. I conducted a full debrief with the hotel manager, who assured me that my guests would be taken care of. Unfortunately, they weren't; although they claimed to have noted all our requests, nothing was actually done. My guests were so dissatisfied with the treatment they received that many insisted on changing hotels. During my visit, I sent clothes for pressing, only to have them lost despite my repeated follow ups and I was given conflicting, misleading information about their whereabouts. In another incident, one of my personal items was broken in the bathroom. The hotel staff claimed it couldn’t be found at the mall, yet I later discovered it available online. I cannot recommend The Edition Hotel based on this experience. The lack of professionalism and accountability here is deeply disappointing, and I urge prospective guests to consider these issues carefully before booking.

I recently had the pleasure of stying at The Edition Hotel in Dubai, it will be always my first choice in Dubai and highly recommended for the friends and family, it was an amazing experience! From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. Sherif, the hotel manager, and Arcahana went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The experience starting even from the valet service was prompt, and my room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable perfect for relaxation. I felt relaxed throughout my stay, thanks to the meticulous housekeeping and attention to detail. The hotel’s location is another plus; it's just a short walk to the Dubai Mall, making it convenient for shopping and dining.

Although the location is great. The rooms are not soundproofed. You can hear the traffic outside, if someone close a door next to you, you will hear it. Rooms are pretty average, bathroom was nice. The staff were nice though.

I’m currently staying at The Edition. I booked my stay through the Marriott website, even though the price on other booking platforms was slightly cheaper. I chose Marriott because they have benefits like potential room upgrades when available. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, I had to wait over 45 minutes to check into my room as they were still preparing it. Additionally, I was informed that no room upgrades were available. To make things worse, my booking specifically mentioned a Burj Khalifa view, but the room I was given did not offer a direct view. I had to step onto the balcony, lean out, and turn my head to the right to see it. On top of that , the floor in the room was not clean , which made my stay even more frustrating.This was not the experience I expected..

I am currently staying at The Edition, and while the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious, the service is severely lacking. There is only one person handling guest services, and it takes at least four to five calls before anyone picks up. Requests take an unreasonable amount of time to fulfill. For example, I tried ordering breakfast in the morning and spent an hour calling with no response. While some staff members are pleasant, others are dismissive or outright rude when you raise a complaint. Housekeeping is inconsistent; they don’t replace basic bathroom amenities like the vanity set, soap, or shampoo unless you specifically remind them, even tissue paper is not restocked without prompting. In summary, the service here is practically non-existent, which significantly detracts from the overall experience despite the beautiful property.
