It's nice to rent an apartment style condo while in travel. The pool was great. The layout of the resort makes no sense and they appear to try and place you in the furthest possible room from amenities.
They didn't disclose that the resort fees plus parking isn't included so when you've paid at booking you check in to owing hundreds more.
The apartment was terribly stocked. A Keurig coffee pot with NO complimentary coffee for guests. Dishwasher, but no detergent or sponge to wash dishes, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for extended stay guests paying for a two bedroom condo, minimum pool towels that IF you lose or leave them at the pool you get charged for. Of course, our room came with less towels than it was supposed to.
Not a terrible condo, but we won't stay again. The "parking and resort" fees for "complimentary" amenities is a deal breaker.

Had such a pleasant experience in 2022, decided to stay here again October 18-26, 2024. What a mistake! One set of towels in a room for 4 people, room door would sometimes lock, had obviously been damaged posing a security risk. Don’t bother calling any of the numbers for front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, etc. because no one answers!! Finally got someone to repair the lock and issued new keys, only to find the keys didn’t work and we were locked out of our room at midnight with 2 kids! Can’t call, because no one answers! Back down to the front desk, and it took 40 minutes for security to use a master key to let us in. Yesterday spent the day at MK, returned to our room and again, new set of keys won’t let us in! Not joking. Got that addressed by a great security manager. This morning no hot water in either bathroom! Run from this place! Not even an offer to comp. 1 night. We will never stay here again, and will never recommend it to anyone.

There was so much to talk about. I'm overwhelmed with comments that its hard to put it all together. From one room to another getting lost. Dead and active bugs in the room. Mold that would make you turn around and leave. A washing machine that sound like it was going to explode. I just can't understand how you can have a resort that suppose to be one of the best, have so many issues. Over priced resort fees. The resort is a hot mess. Totally destroyed my plans of relaxing and cooking a good dinner for my grand child birthday. I ended up going home and cooking and celebrating her birthday at home and than coming back. I'm so disappointed at this place. I would never come back. Also double charging me on fees that i had paid already. If i could give you a zero rating i would. So disappointed at what was going on at the resort. Last comment. The young people you have out front at the main entrance not one came and asked did we need help. They was standing there on their phones looking and running their mouths. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.... NEVER AGAIN.

The room was nice but the phone was a ball of mismatchness. The number to dial Guest Services was linked to the Pool area. The number to Bell Services was linked to the restaurant, etc. The TV didn't work. I walked down to Guest Services to let them know. They sent maintenance who said that none of the phone shortcuts work and that it is what it is. He fixed the TV, however. The events were poorly communicated in terms of how to participate. The workers on the phone lacked information as well. The Water Park was very nice though.

My husband and I took our 5 grandchildren for a end of summer stay at the Grove 8/6/24 - 8/9/24, the stay was awesome. We reserved a three bedroom suite and was assigned to bldg 1 H. The suite was spacious, furnishing throughout was modern comfortable and appropriately decorated.
The unit was immaculate, fully stocked with everything we needed. We only had to supply the food. The hallway and elevators was clean and housekeeping came to empty our garbage daily. The problem we had with the key card not locking the door was handled quickly (thank you staff for your professionalism). I am sorry that some reviews were not favorable but our stay was great. The screened balcony was a plus and offered a beautiful view overlooking the pool and lake. We even saw fireworks from the balcony 2 nights during our stay. The pools, splashed, lazy river, arcade and wave pool was a hit with the Grands ages 5, 12 and 15 yrs old. We had fun everyday.
The kids had no interest in playing on electric devices. The Grove definitely promotes family time, good vibes and positive memories, all you have to do is show up and The Grove takes care of the rest. The Grove can be seen as somewhat pricey but, you get what you pay for. Definitely will visit again.
