We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights (honestly – I wish it was longer! Please do yourself a favor and stay more nights, this place is a dream). Hands down, the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! From the moment we arrived, the front desk team made us feel so welcome. They surprised us with a room upgrade overlooking the pool and the sea – it was my husband's birthday, and they made it so special! We got a cake to the room, wine, a fruit platter, and desserts – just endless treats every single day! The food was delicious and varied, drinks and snacks were available all day at the bar, and there were live shows and a really fun vibe every night. I thought it would be empty since it was early April, but it was packed and the energy was amazing! The pools are stunning, and the staff friendliest people. Always smiling and happy to help. This is an adults-only hotel, they even offer free shuttle service to and from the airport but we rented a car from the airport which worked great too – there’s plenty of free parking right in front of the sea. I hope I get to come back someday!

Ixian Grand Rhodes Our experience April 2025 is that the Ixian Grand definitely lives up to its 5star rating. High standards of cleanliness in all public areas and allocated room. We had a deluxe sea view room with a nice en-suite (albeit unusual use of glass doors), large king size bed, sitting area with sofa and table, desk, private balcony with chairs and table and fantastic view across the sea to Turkey. Room spec includes TV, hair dryer, room safe, and well stocked fridge (first fridge stock of  beer and soft drinks included in all -inclusive price).Bathrobes, slippers, bath& hand towels and nice smelling toiletries also provided. Very friendly and helpful staff .Fridge and one light not working on arrival -fixed by staff in less than 60 minutes. Plenty  of electrical sockets for charging, but needs round pin adaptors that fit into recessed sockets (not flat surfaced multi -travel chargers like we brought).Used toilet paper to go in bin provided, not the toilet due to pipe sizes. Excellent WiFi in rooms and public places. Useful hotel app Exclusivi with  hotel, restaurant and bar details. Wide range of hot and cold  food items that vary each day for the buffet meals with plenty of fruit, salad and vegetable options (even Brussel sprouts for those so inclined).Attentive staff keep your glasses filled. Quick moving queue at bars, good selection of sweet and savoury snacks at the snack bar. Pools, terraces, lawns and sun loungers kept clean by large team of staff, pool towels provided. Car hire desk, excursions desk, spa desk and holiday essentials shop in foyer. Taxi rank with destination prices 1 minute walk up lane, large Spar supermarket 5 minutes’ walk and pharmacy 10 minutes’ walk. Hotel gardens open onto a clean pebble beach and turquoise sea. Would visit again.

I had a fantastic experience at The Ixian Grand. The Pizza chef, George went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and made great pizza. He recommended some amazing dishes and kept everything running smoothly, even on a busy nights It's rare to find someone so dedicated to making sure guests have a memorable time. Highly recommend George, the Pizza chef.

We are currently staying at the Ixian Grand and All Suites - Adults Only Hotel, and while we have done our best to enjoy our holiday, we have encountered several disappointments that make it clear this is not a five-star experience. Service: The staff in the buffet restaurant are extremely friendly and chatty, which we appreciated. However, they only seem to offer drink top-ups if you have wine or water. All other soft drinks need to be ordered separately, so if you want a refill, make sure to order water alongside your drink. The bar service, however, has been frustrating. I am diabetic and specifically requested Pepsi Zero or diet sodas, but despite my requests, I have repeatedly been served full-fat Pepsi. The staff assured me it was diet, yet my glucometer readings consistently showed high sugar content in 8 out of 10 drinks. When testing an actual diet drink, my glucometer reads "LOW," confirming the mix-up. This is not just an inconvenience but a serious health concern. The waiters don't even know what cold chocolate is despite it being on their menu. The bar staff are rude unlike every other staff member who is lovely. Entertainment: The hotel advertises nightly entertainment, but there has been no sign of the karaoke or DJ that we were expecting. Staff have blamed the absence of these activities on the weather, but this explanation doesn't make sense considering the activities are indoors and unaffected by rain. Facilities & Cleanliness: The weather has been terrible during our stay, which, of course, is beyond the hotel's control. However, the state of the hotel's facilities is inexcusable. The sunbeds are filthy, covered in a rusty-colored substance that could easily stain clothing. (I will attach a picture later.) The terrace bar has a sheltered roof, but when it rains, constant drips make it uncomfortable to sit outside. The outdoor pools are completely unusable. They are green, with a thick scum on the bottom, and we have not seen a single person go in them since we arrived. The indoor spa pool is in slightly better condition but is still grubby, and the steam room has been out of order for our entire stay. Several other guests have also complained about the facilities, yet staff have dismissed concerns by saying, "Are you sure it's not just the rain that's annoying you? No one else has complained." This is completely false, as we have spoken to several groups who all share the same complaints. Room Conditions: The rooms are clean, which is one of the few positives. The minibar is stocked with a mix of drinks, including both diet and full-fat Pepsi (so they clearly do have diet options available). The minibar includes: 2x beers 2x Diet Pepsi 2x full-fat Pepsi 2x soda water 4x espresso coffee (with 2 teaspoons of milk) However, there are several issues that have negatively impacted our comfort: The walls are paper-thin, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep due to noise from the hallways and neighboring rooms. The heating in our room is broken, which has been a significant problem given the bad weather. The TV is unusable because the remote’s batteries are dead. Food & Drinks: All staff behind food counters are lovely, especially the young guy who makes the pizzas and all of the waiting staff. The drinks at the bar are another issue. The cocktails contain different ingredients than what is advertised on the hotel’s website/app, which could be a major health concern for anyone with allergies. Luckily, we don't have allergies, but the cocktails just taste wrong — more like bitter cough syrup than anything enjoyable. Final Thoughts: We have remained determined to have a lovely holiday despite these setbacks, but overall, we feel extremely let down. This hotel is, at best, a three-star establishment, and it is definitely not five stars. Given the poor maintenance, lack of proper service, and significant facility issues, we cannot recommend this hotel to others looking for a true luxury experience.

Where do I start, firstly a massive well done to the marketing team you do an absolutely fantastic job at making this hotel look like a 5 star luxury hotel! However, the dream you sell vs reality are two very different things. When we arrived we were told we were given an upgrade- which we thought was wonderful until we got to the room and saw the flooring, curtain, bathroom dirty, the whole room looked like it was rushed and wasn’t cleaned properly. For a 5 start hotel I expect deep cleaning and every part of the room sparkling. I Should not feel disgusted to stay in a room. We called reception to tell them about the cleanliness, they sent the head of cleaning to inspect! When she came she said the marks on the floor are from a storm and don’t come off without a strong chemical, why this chemical wasn’t used after the storm if this was the case I don’t know, well I do know it’s because it was lies!! Once she left I wet a towel and cleaned it myself - it wasn’t a stain it came straight off!! They did try to move us into another room but we said just come clean this and sort out the curtain etc! How do they think that it’s even acceptable to not have cleaned properly! In the end they came cleaned and it still wasn’t okay. Their standards are just low, that of a 2/3 star hotel. From 5 star hotels I expect attention to detail and immaculate presentation and Ixian Grand just isn’t it, it’s run down. We gathered if anything we are paying for the wonderful view overlooking the beach which was very peaceful! There is house keeping daily, but again very basic cleaning they don’t even clean under the bed and leave 1 bottle of water in the room. One evening my partner and I went to the bar and asked for a bottle of water- the waiter said go to the supermarket…..THE SUPERMARKET!! we are staying in all inclusive why am I paying for water when you are giving out alcohol like it’s water!! I refused to buy water! And when called customer relations she said they only leave one bottle in the room and you need to pay if you want more! I am not paying for water! To be fair she then arranged for 2 bottles to be left in our room. I went back to complain to customer relations as overall I was very unhappy with our experience to the point I was willing to go and book an air BnB!-it was not a cheap booking and the reality just felt like we had been catfished! Anna from CR offered us a free meal at the suites only restaurant Alazonia-which to be fair was nice. Hotel: 3 start at max- really needs an upgrade! Spa: The spa workers keep hounding you daily for treatment-it’s too much. The spa is basic not even that nice or inviting! Considering the weather wasn’t great you would have thought they would have warmed the spa and pool area. We went there and had to leave, it was freezing, not clean. Gym: Needs a refurb with all the equipment. Yoga mats were filthy. Again for a 5 star this was not even 1 star. The food: Overall very average and very samey! You don't really get the authentic greek experience from the food. Staff: Staff are lovely. Especially the restaurant staff, very attentive. Massive opportunities to elevate the experience, to match up to the marketing. Overall the attention to detail is missing in all aspects of the experience! Unfortunately, we will not return here again!
