It's a 5 star rated but felt more like 4 stars to me. The "deluxe room" was pretty standard fare. Reasonable size, 3 small drawers and an open area to hang clothes. The shower was over the bath with no anti-slip aid. I almost slipped over 2 or 3 times and ended up showering on my knees! There's a gym and spa and an indoor pool (the outdoor one was mostly unusable because of the weather). Reception was very nice but the place felt soulless. It's not all bad. The food was mostly excellent, with veggie options marked 95% of the time and the restaurant staff were really great (except the 1 waitress who kept clearing my table every time I went to get more food😒). A bus stop right outside the hotel to get into Rhodes and back in 10-15 minutes meant it was well placed. Restaurants and bars (mostly closed in early April) were within a 10 minute walk if you don't choose the all-inclusive option. Would I stay again? I'm not sure if I would. Certainly I wouldn't pay for all-inclusive again as a total waste of money, maybe half board.

Not really a 5* - more like a 4* with a spa. Found reception staff quite/very rude when reporting a fault with the a/c. A little odd to have to walk out the main door, go across the main driveway to get to the pool. A lot of traffic noise from the main road when at the pool. No easy access to the toilets from the pool area… Very course/jaggy approach to the shallow part of the pool. Indoor pool wasn’t the cleanest - but was warm. Jacuzzi and steam room weren’t working and sauna not hot enough to be a sauna. Hotel has its own part of the pebble beach. Due to its proximity it is quite littered. But has sunbeds and parasols. For a family of 3 I thought the deluxe room was a little small. Bathroom was small. Although everything was refurbished. The hotel was midway to rebranding from Rhodes Bay to Amus. As such, not all facilities were available during our stay. Taxi to/from airport is €26. Bus to Rhodes town €2.5

We just returned from this hotel. We have never been so happy for our holiday to be over. This hotel was a major disappointment. It was advertised as a part of the Luxe Collection with Jet2 which could not be further from the truth. Upon our arrival we got allocated a room overlooking the hotel's spa. There was unbearable noise from the industrial air con units/generator/pump located right outside the room. Even with the doors closed you could hear the noise, let alone being able to use the balcony. We went back to the reception asking to move us elsewhere as we would not be able to sleep in such noise with a small child to which they tried to fob us off saying there was 'no available rooms'. Eventually, after speaking with a manager they showed as other rooms which were much smaller and had no balcony which was not what we booked. They found a quieter room in the end and we were just happy to go to sleep after a very long day of travelling. In the morning we discovered that there was black mould growing on the bathroom ceiling! The general finish of the room décor was very poor- wonky tv bracket, patches on the walls painted over hastily, cracked door frames...I could go on and on. The majority of the advertised facilities were closed which we were not informed about. There was no kids club, no entertainment in the day. The outside pools were freezing cold, the parasols and sun loungers are all faded and ripped. The so called kids play area is a few faded plastic slides and a fence that's hanging off. The indoor pool was tiny and not fit for purpose for the hotel of that size. There was nowhere to sit/lay down near the indoor pool. Just a bench in the corner. So all the parents were just stood around, it felt like an absolute chaos, even though there were only a few families there. The beach is just a few old sun loungers, it looks abandoned and there is no hotel facilities there (i.e. a bar, towel station, showers/toilets). The hotel's communal areas looked equally as dated and unfinished. The WiFi signal was very poor in the room. The food was ok, the selection was not great but we always found something to eat. Their wines (8 EUR per glass by the way!) were disgusting, tasted like a 2 EUR bottle from a supermarket bottom shelf. I have no idea how this hotel has such a high review score, something is very fishy here. This is definitely not a 5 star "luxe" property, more of a 3 star at a stretch. I have never had to raise an official complaint about a property but this time it just feels like a con and I will be pursuing this further with Jet2. Please save your hard earned money and avoid this hotel like the plague.

Hotel generally is ok. Very tiny indoor pool, breakfast variety is poor, and the worst part is checking out. We have waited for 40 min just to check out. Not efficient at all, and unlike other similar hotel that you can just drop your key cards and go. Walk to gym,spa and indoor pool have to walk through the outdoor so it is very cold when walking back to your room. Also, rooms are quite small and normal, definitely not 5 star, 3 star at max.

Extremely disappointing experience – not a 5-star hotel by any means. We stayed at Amus Hotel in Rhodes expecting a relaxing vacation at a high-standard hotel, but the reality was far from what was advertised. Check-in took over an hour, with a chaotic and unhelpful front desk. Water pressure in the showers is extremely weak, and in our case, there was no hot water at all on the second day. Room heating does not work, and complaints are repeatedly dismissed with the excuse that it’s “not the tourist season.” Basic services like towel replacements are neglected or require multiple follow-ups. in additon most of out stay the room stank from sewage smell The hotel staff are unresponsive and take no responsibility for the ongoing issues. Speaking to other guests, we found that these problems are widespread and none of us were offered proper solutions. This hotel lacks transparency, professionalism, and basic hospitality. Definitely not worth the price, and certainly not 5 stars.
