Our stay at this hotel was truly five-star. We stayed for 8 nights, arriving in the second week of September, and every moment was memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly, and the elegance and cleanliness of the hotel immediately stood out. It's a beautifully maintained property with a family-friendly atmosphere that made traveling with my wife and baby incredibly comfortable. A special thank you to Luba, whose support throughout our stay made everything seamless. She was not only helpful but also gave us great suggestions that made our experience even better. The buffet offerings for both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the restaurant staff, Eleni, Eirini, and Athanasia, provided outstanding service that made our dining experience even more enjoyable. On our last day, we visited the ice cream shop and were met with the same level of hospitality from Rafaela and Chrysi, thank you both for the sweet send-off! While the beach at the sister hotel isn’t large, the calm waters in the cove were ideal for children, and we always found available sunbeds both there and by the hotel pool. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, great food, and exceptional service.

The most amazing hotel we’ve stayed at in Crete! Highly recommended for families with kids. We chose this hotel mainly because of the heated pool — and ended up getting the best service we’ve ever had in Crete (and it’s our fifth time here). The hotel is beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained. It’s located a bit far from the beach, but there are convenient shuttle rides. We were truly surprised by all the complimentary services the hotel offers — from fitness classes and ceramics workshops to lunch for kids at the kids’ club, even if you don’t have a full-board plan. The main downsides are the prices inside the hotel. Since it’s far from the city, you have to eat on-site — and the food and drinks are very expensive. For example, drinks during dinner are charged separately and 5 euros for a small Coke is just too much. There’s also no option for free water or basic beverages. The kids’ club could also use some improvement — there’s not much for babies, and most of the play area is outdoors, so it’s not usable when it’s too hot or rainy. Only one pool is heated, so when the weather is nice, it gets crowded quickly. (In our opinion in October they need to heat more). Overall, we had a wonderful experience and truly recommend this hotel. I gave it 5 stars despite the downsides because the staff and service really deserve it.

Brace yourselves! You are about to experience one of the best hotels you’ve ever been to! This place is new, very good thought out, super high standards of service, higher than average food quality and options of things to do, and very luxurious architecture! (They didn’t waste any cost on the materials that’s for sure) From the moment you step in the hotel until the moment you leave, they will try to do their best to accommodate your needs and satisfy you Could be improved with providing more free water and pitchers in breakfasts / dinners / restaurants, and the elevator should work faster / more elevators + no a/c in the elevator. Besides that everything is exceptionally high standards. Wouldn’t take an inch from the 5/5 stars for those issues. Have fun in your stay!

An absolute dream. We stayed for 7 nights and we had an incredible time In this resort. The hospitality is amazing and all the staff are so so nice. They go above and beyond to ensure you’re looked after. All the restaurants onsite are unmissable. Especially the Mitato steakhouse or Cretamos fine dining. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! We will most certainly be back. Special mention to Luba from concierge services, Angelos Antoniu (manager) and Aspa Lanara (Guest Relations) for their incredible assistance along the way. Thank you very much!

Royal Senses Hotel in Crete offers an experience that feels at once refined and effortlessly relaxed. Beautifully decorated in soft, harmonious tones, it exudes a sense of balance and calm from the moment you arrive. Service matches the hotel’s five-star credentials, yet with a lightness of touch that avoids the stiff formality sometimes found at this level. The suite we stayed in was flawless: a spacious room opening onto a private pool terrace with sweeping views of the sea – an idyllic spot that quickly becomes hard to leave. The only minor drawback was a minibar stocked solely with bottled water, which felt a touch underwhelming in contrast to the otherwise generous setting. Breakfast is a highlight, served buffet-style with a wide and high-quality selection in a space that makes for a bright, uplifting start to the day. Lunch at the Greek-inspired restaurant was pleasant enough without stealing the show. The bar deserves praise, both for its well-made cocktails and its stunning vantage point for the sunset. The private beach, while not the most beautiful on Crete, is comfortable and undeniably convenient, especially with the hotel’s car service providing seamless access. It adds an extra layer of ease. The spa is a true haven – serene, beautifully designed, and with a half-indoor, half-outdoor heated pool that feels indulgent without excess. A two-hour body treatment left me floating for an entire day afterwards. Royal Senses is less about formality and more about balance: a luxury retreat where everything is carefully thought out yet never feels overdone. For those seeking comfort, calm and a touch of indulgence framed by the Cretan landscape, it is a stay to be remembered.
