The Kumbuh Restaurant

The restaurant is named after the banjar next to the resort. It is located on the second floor right above the lobby with 40 seats from where the sunset view is second to none. The menu combination of wonderful Balinese specialties and western cuisine is ready to tantalize your appetite.

The Pool Bar

An excellent outlet serving the pool with all-time classics plus options for lighter items, fresh products, salad and sandwiches. Juiceology, detox selection and mixology for the healthy conscious are offered, accompanied by dedicated pool service.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely exceptional, and the credit goes to the incredible team that made everything so seamless and enjoyable. The reception staff were warm and professional, ensuring a smooth check-in and always ready to assist with a smile. The restaurant team was outstanding – attentive, friendly, and delivering impeccable service along with delicious meals. Even the drivers were courteous and punctual, making transportation effortless. Every staff member, from housekeeping to management, seemed genuinely committed to providing the best experience possible. Their teamwork and dedication truly set this hotel apart. I felt valued as a guest and couldn’t have asked for more. A perfect stay – highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay for 4 nights in a Deluxe pool villa. The resort is peaceful and beautiful. All staff were very friendly and attentive. Food from The Kumbah Restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed the traditional dancers and acoustic duo providing entertainment. It is located away from central Ubud which is exactly what we wanted. Hotel provides a shuttle and it was quick and easy to get a Grab. Just a heads up, there are quite a lot of stairs so it would not suit visitors with mobility issues. The perfect resort to just relax! 💕

We booked here for our honeymoon for 3 days. Absolutely incredible experience and service by the staffs. Very friendly and understanding. We booked 7pm candle light dinner but due to traffic we were late and asked if we can reschedule later on 8:30pm. The staffs said without hesitation no problem we went there at 8:45pm but still they welcomed us and smiled at us and had already set up the dinner decorations and everything. Highly recommended to all if you visit ubud. We booked villa with swimming pool. absolutely incredible experience.

We had a great experience staying at the Sankara resort. Rooms are spacious Property is well maintained Breakfast menu is good It’s away from hustle bustle of the city yet close.. They provide shuttle services at various times of the day, which is convenient Best part of the stay is staff, they are really courteous and always ready to help with a smile. My 1 year old kid felt really good with the staff, they were ensuring the comfort of all the guests. They hold different kind of events in the evening and not to miss we really liked food overall. We would recommend staying at this property..!!🙂

The most hospitable stay I had in all of Bali. They have many complimentary activities, the ones I enjoyed the most was the village walk and foot massage. The staff were very friendly, helping us organise a day trip. They were also accommodating and quick to cater with our requests. Would definitely return and stay here again !
