I actually didn't stay here so I don't know anything about the rooms. I just stumbled across this place when I was at Surin beach. I hope they don't mind the drone footage as this beach is privately owned by the resort. But this place looks awesome. Quit a big stretch of beach and not too over developed either. So you get that beach and jungle vibe. It seems very chilled and relaxed here. I would love to book a few nights here the next time I'm in Phuket

Secluded private bay, yet close to the Kamala beach attractions. All in all exceptional. Service is generally very good, except the annoying urge to tell me that I have to pay what I already know - they seem a little panicky about collection of money - which is typically not the case in such high-end places. The rooms are excellent, despite a bit overdrawn on the online media (the private pool is much smaller than it looks on pictures). All in all very good - minus the food. The food is very disappointing and a problem. I mean it’s Thailand and the Thai food at any random shop at the airport is better than in Surin. How can that be? I’m not sure, but if any one of the hotel management team reads this: you need to up your game on the food. A lot. For us, it’s a critical aspect about a hotel. I don’t care if the food costs a lot or not, but it has to be good.

Thrilled again after our fourth stay! The Surin achieves consistency in personal hospitality, cleanliness, efficiency and atmosphere. I can't name another hotel in Thailand that merely meets consistent standards and holds up to its promises.
Once more, the staff did their utmost best for us to feel appreciated, welcome and truly valued. We never felt more relaxed and at ease anywhere else! Six stars if it were possible!
Also, the facilities are exceptionally well looked after and enable great comfort around this stunning location in the segregated lagoon of Pansea Beach.
The rooms are all well equipped, nicely arranged and provide all necessary amenities one could ask for to enjoy a lazy day at the beach. The beds were even upgraded with a topper over the matress, recently.
On the other hand, the interior is a little outdated and sometimes there are issues with the A/C. BUT: nothing serious or something the attentive staff wouldn't take care of and follow-up upon:)
Cannot wait to be back in april...

We stayed at The Surin Hotel Phuket at the beginning of November 2024. This is one of the best hotels we ever stayed, and by far the best beach hotel. We were super happy with everything and would recommend anybody, who visits Phuket, to stay at the Surin if you have the budget. I already told several of my friends and colleagues about it. The hotel has quite a few guests but you never feel it. I had a feeling of a small boutique hotel. We stayed in a Hillside Cottage. You get a very nice view of the beach through the palm trees. There is a lot of privacy since nobody walks in that direction. Downside is that you might need to walk a bit up and down when you visit the beach or restaurants, but you are closer to the massage area. We didn't mind at all since the walks are very panoramatic. Rooms are spacious, clean, quiet and you get flowers and fruits in the room and nice smelling candle in the bathroom. You can also hear the waves at the beach from your terrace. There are two restaurant. They are both great and we didn't even want to go eat outside. The set Thai menu at the Beach restaurant was the best meal we had in Thailand. Breakfast was also great with many great options. Although, food and drinks are on the pricier side. The service was actually 6/5. It was the best service I had in a hotel in a very long time. They almost read our minds. At the beach they always ran to help us set up the sunbeds, gave you as much towels you wanted. At the reception, they helped you out with any requests you had. I would like to highlight Tom from the reception and Sam (Sampiyapong) who is the beach manager and Muay Thai coach. Both went far and beyond to make us feel comfortable at the hotel. Lastly, the location of the hotel is great. It is like a little oasis in otherwise busy beach town. You cross a little hill and you have a quiet private beach that offers pretty good snorkelling opportunities and you can also have fun in the waves. It is also possible to still swim during low tides, which is great and might be a problem at some other places in Phuket. Sunsets at the beach & restaurants are very nice too. Only downside is that Surin Beach is not that well connected with the rest of the island and streets are congested. But you don't want to leave this hotel anyways :-). Thank you The Surin Hotel staff for a wonderful experience.

Our stay at The Surin Hotel in Phuket was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the exceptional food, attentive service, and stunning interiors that perfectly blended luxury with a serene, tropical vibe.
The fruits served here tasted like they were from another planet—so fresh and flavorful! Every day, our room was thoughtfully stocked with fresh fruit, delicious cookies, water, and coffee, making us feel welcomed.
The beach at The Surin is a gem. It’s secluded and feels like a private paradise, ideal for those looking to relax away from crowds. While the property’s layout includes stairs and no elevators, which might be a challenge for some, we found it an extra positive workout:). Plus, the free water activities provided endless fun and were a great addition to our stay.
This hotel is an exceptional choice for couples. It’s romantic, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches that make it a perfect escape. If you’re seeking tranquility and an intimate getaway, The Surin is the place to be. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!
