The Westin Langkawi Resort and Spa

Has an amazing week-long stay at The Westin in Langkawi in January. I booked through Destination2 which has a promotion for 2 nights free for a 7-night stay. As it was a very special anniversary the hotel upgraded us to a sea view room and left flowers and cake in our room. Staff throughout were excellent, from reception, to breakfast staff who would always try to find us a seat with a nice view and also housekeeping staff who would ask if things were ok. In-fact, staff hospitality was one of the best we have ever experienced - we had long chats with some staff just sharing experiences. The hotel grounds are immaculate. The beach was always beautiful when we visited. Breakfast was delicious and varied, we took our time every morning to sample different items as we there mainly to relax. There was plenty to choose from. Our room was spacious, very clean and well kept. There were some small signs of aging but at the price we paid and the service we received we had no complaints. Our favourite place was our balcony with a wonderful view. We spent many hours relaxing their. On some mornings beautiful docile dusky leaf monkeys would briefly visit our balcony whilst we were in our room which we enjoyed. Overall we loved our stay at Westin Langkawi and would love to visit again. We came home with wonderful memories of our relaxing stay. It was the highlight of our trip to the region. Pool was nice. Kids enjoyed it. Nice view of the beach. Good breakfast. Restaurants served good food as well. Room size was good." However, Sami noted that some furniture and facilities are starting to show signs of aging and may need renovation. Beautiful property, fun pools, really comfortable accommodation." She mentioned an issue with a vegetarian dish containing fish sauce, indicating a need for better dietary awareness. Loved our pool villa and the beach access. Loved the staff who were wonderful. Enjoyed the Malay food." He pointed out that pool villas are relatively expensive compared to those in Thailand.

Went to Tide for dinner , very nice ambience, staff were very attentive and welcoming. One of the staff who served me , Azuhar were genuinely kind and informative. The service is good and well taken care. The food was also fantastic. I was lucky to get a table with the perfect sunset view. Overall was a great experience.

I had an exceptional experience here—definitely worthy of five stars. The service was excellent, the room was comfortable, and the facilities were top-notch. The food was enjoyable, but what I loved most was the beach. It was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking scenic views.

From the moment we arrived at The Westin Langkawi, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. We were greeted by our assigned driver, Luqman, who provided seamless airport transfers both upon arrival and departure. The hospitality at the resort was outstanding—Farah at reception was warm and welcoming, making the experience feel truly personalised. She was incredibly helpful, offering great recommendations like the night markets and assisting with any arrangements we needed. The Suite was spacious and beautifully maintained, offering a breathtaking view. The pool area was fantastic, providing the perfect place to relax. One of the standout features was the private airport lounge, which was an absolute luxury—it provided a comfortable space to wait for our flight with complimentary food and drinks. Every detail at The Westin Langkawi made our stay truly memorable, and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and stress-free stay in Langkawi!
