Rooms are bright and comfortable. But they are housed in slightly creepy -looking chalets built like traditional rustic malay houses. If you are not into that sort of thing, this might not be a place for you. The chalets are also double-storey with no lifts. So if you are coming with old folks, you may wish to ask for the rooms on the ground floor.
Service was great- warm, friendly and fast. I liked the 24 hour buggy service. You can call them and they will drive you anywhere.
It is located very near to a nice beach. So you can walk out and laze around and listen to live music at the pelangi grill, which is close to the beach.
Good for families and females. No sleazy vibes.

We stayed here for six nights and enjoyed it very much. We were warmly welcomed, and the room was perfectly prepared. Everything was very clean. A beautiful hotel complex with two excellent restaurants. The selection of food was great. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet every day. I would come back here anytime. Thank you very much!

It is beautiful has a lake, a private beach and a swimming pool. There is a water sports activity center just next to it. But you will hardly find any vegetarian dishes in their menu. And maximum of their baked items contain eggs. Their room service is also not very prompt.

I will come back time and time again. Absolutely incredible resort, we went prior to the renovations. Especially love the buggy service as it is a huge resort.
Would definitely recommend upgrading to the island view or sea view room, it will make your experience that much better.

I chose the Pelangi Beach Resort based on a friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint. Although it’s an older-style property, it's clear they're taking great care of it.
The rooms were incredibly comfortable and spacious, and I particularly loved that I could walk straight out onto the beach from my balcony. It felt like having my very own slice of paradise right at my doorstep.
The service was excellent—staff were attentive and friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. The location of the resort is simply lovely, with a beautiful beach providing the perfect backdrop for relaxation and leisure.
One of the highlights of our stay was the day spa. The massages were incredibly relaxing and just what I needed to unwind. Also, the swim-up bar was an absolute treat, adding to the overall experience.
Overall, Pelangi Beach Resort offers a wonderful blend of comfort, excellent service, and a stunning beach setting. I look forward to visiting again!
