Had a really good time when visited in October. Started off with some issues, but the staff was quick to fix the issue. Overall staff were really good! The food was amazing as I'm sure you can tell from the photos. Did a cooking lesson, not amazing, but it was entertaining enough and we had fun. The drinks were also great and we enjoyed our time in the decanter room for afternoon drinks. Massage treatments were great. Bit on the pricey side, but that's to be expected at a hotel like this. Overall, it was a great experience, and we will be back again.

Overall it is a very nice hotel. Good breakfast, nice restaurants and the room was great with the view of the sea. The staff is very friendly, but could use a bit more training in terms of awareness. The only downside is the beach and water. Although they have a pretty big beach, the sand could use some cleaning and maybe they can do something about the shore because you have mud after the first 2 meters.

I'm seriously surprised by the 5 star ratings all around. No doubt the service and staff at the place are great as expected from a St Regis property but the place doesn't have a real beach. It looks like an artificial reclaimed land or something and during low tide the entire stretch becomes like a swamp. So if you are just coming for a beach vacation then this definitely is not the place particularly considering the high price. There are around 10+ resorts in Langkawi that are better options under luxury option.

What a beautiful hotel! Not just the property and the rooms, but the service was incredible. Greeted everywhere with a smile and polite attitudes, super helpful and taking special care to make our stay outstanding. Thank you St. Regis, you made our trip to Langkawi so special! We had a wonderful stay at the St. Regis Langkawi. Nothing to complain about. 1. The Resort: a beautiful get-away in the nature. With lots of space, a beautiful beach, a huge gym, a very relaxed SPA, nice dining spots and bars 2. The Staff (incl. the Butler Service): very courteous and accommodating. Starting from the staff at the restaurant, to the beach and the reception: they always were proactively supporting and most importantly were always open for a chat and very interested! 3. The Room: spacious, very clean, great amenities, huge bed,… the room service was also VERY attentive and spotless, nothing to complain about. 4. The Food: always a great selection of freshly prepared food at one of the three restaurants. Extra wishes were no problem and additional surprises from the chef were normal. 5. The rest: we always got attentions delivered to our room or provided elsewhere: fresh chocolate, fruits, cheese and bread, some macarons, a goodbye cake,… it’s just nice to feel valued and get little surprises everyday :) For us - it was a very special stay. Thank you!
