What a beautiful hotel! Not just the property and the rooms, but the service was incredible. Greeted everywhere with a smile and polite attitudes, super helpful and taking special care to make our stay outstanding. Thank you St. Regis, you made our trip to Langkawi so special! We had a wonderful stay at the St. Regis Langkawi. Nothing to complain about.
1. The Resort: a beautiful get-away in the nature. With lots of space, a beautiful beach, a huge gym, a very relaxed SPA, nice dining spots and bars
2. The Staff (incl. the Butler Service): very courteous and accommodating. Starting from the staff at the restaurant, to the beach and the reception: they always were proactively supporting and most importantly were always open for a chat and very interested!
3. The Room: spacious, very clean, great amenities, huge bed,… the room service was also VERY attentive and spotless, nothing to complain about.
4. The Food: always a great selection of freshly prepared food at one of the three restaurants. Extra wishes were no problem and additional surprises from the chef were normal.
5. The rest: we always got attentions delivered to our room or provided elsewhere: fresh chocolate, fruits, cheese and bread, some macarons, a goodbye cake,… it’s just nice to feel valued and get little surprises everyday :)
For us - it was a very special stay.

The experience you get when you visit this resort is very hard to beat. It's worth every cent you spend. From the greeting at the front to the pool bar, who by the way we're the best on the island. The butler service as promised is the best you can ever experience. The food at the breakfast buffet was exceptionally well presented and very tasty. We had the best holiday in many years and felt very special. Will be back for sure.

I had a very disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share to warn other travelers. I booked a room for three people, and while checking the rates for two versus three guests, I noticed that the price increased by 2000 MR when selecting three guests. I assumed this meant the booking was confirmed for three. However, upon arrival, the receptionist informed us that our booking was for two people only. I showed him my reservation, which clearly stated that it was for three. He continued to argue that while the room could accommodate three guests, it didn’t include an extra bed, which I found incredibly frustrating. Typically, when booking for three, an extra bed is provided. Despite my insistence that this was not an extra person, they insisted we would have to pay for the breakfast of the third guest, which was supposed to be included. After some back and forth, they agreed to provide us with an extra bed if we paid for the breakfast. When we finally got to our room, we were shocked to find it was too small and only had twin beds. I asked how they intended to fit an extra bed in the room, and they told me it wouldn’t be possible since we needed to book a larger room. I was at my wit's end and suggested merging the twin beds, but they refused and insisted we pay for an additional bed. To sum up my experience: I booked a room for three people, but upon arrival, I faced unexpected charges for breakfast and the extra bed, despite being told that my room was suitable for three without clarification in the booking details. I strongly advise potential guests to clarify these policies before booking, as this hotel’s practices feel misleading and unprofessional.

An unforgettable experience staying at the St Regis Langkawi. The customer service provided was outstanding and the attention to detail was immaculate. All staff were really attentive and polite. Views were breathtaking from our sea view suite and really made good use of the butler service provided. The food at the pentai grill was really nice and the views and vibes by the restaurant on the pier was spot on. Loved the idea of being able to order 3 free coffee’s/tea’s to our room daily which we made good use of. Big thank you to Mr Shah and his butler team.
Will definitely recommend to others and hope to be back there again.
