We had an amazing stay at this hotel, primarily due to its breathtaking location—right in front of the ocean. Waking up to those stunning views was truly unforgettable. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained. The view from our room felt right out of a postcard. A special highlight of our stay was celebrating my birthday at the hotel. They arranged some special touches, including a cake and a bottle of wine, which was a really nice gesture and made the occasion even more memorable. A disappointment we faced was with the half-board dining experience. The pre-fixed menu didn’t suit our taste, and we preferred to order from the regular menu. While we paid almost 100 euros extra per night for half-board, we were surprised to learn that we could only order up to a maximum of 50 euros outside the set menu. This restriction felt misleading and left us feeling like we weren’t getting the value we expected. Despite these concerns, the location and overall ambiance of the hotel made our trip special. With some improvements in service and transparency around dining options, this could be an exceptional experience for future guests.

What a lovely hotel and stay I had here. The staff from the doorman, to front desk to breakfast and room service were all so wonderful, kind and polite. The location is so stunning looking over the cliffs. It’s a short walk right into town with the beach and many restaurants and shops. The beds are very comfortable and some rooms have a stunning view. The property itself is very clean and well kept. The breakfast has a huge variety and was delicious. I really enjoyed my stay here and will be back!

Amazing hotel with stunning view from the rooms and the restaurant. Only a 15 minute walk from the village and 5 minutes from where restaurants begin. There is a great boardwalk by the sea to get to and from the village. The staff was very nice and the breakfast buffet was excellent (huge selection and nice quality). The rooms were very comfortable.

Wish we stayed longer! Tivoli Carvoeiro was a slice of heaven. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the views from the sea view room were spectacular. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever had while traveling. All of the food was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed sitting outside enjoying our coffee and taking in the scenary.

On Valentine's night we booked the 'Timeless Romance' meal in The One restaurant. The food was outstanding, the attention to detail and the wonderful staff made it a night to remember. Each of the 5 courses was served on stylish plates. My husband opted for the wine pairings menu and the wines were absolutely delicious, I know because I had a sip of each glass. After the meal we went into the bar where there was a man and woman who sang beautifully, her singing and his guitar playing made the evening complete. The drinks served were perfect and the accompanying bowl of nuts and chips were divine. The bar and restaurant overlook the cliffs and the ocean, there is an indoor and outdoor bar, the outdoor bar has flaming braziers to keep people warm. In this hotel every little attention to detail is given. The location, with the hotel built into the cliffs is world class. It was a privilege to spend an evening at The Tivoli. If I were asked for 1 thing which stands out above all about The Tivoli Hotel I would say that it is the staff, they are lovely people.
