Breakfast was amazing. Location was great- maybe ten minutes to the touristy areas on foot. Shower in our room was little bitty. This place is huge, we were about a ten minute walk from the front desk. Would stay here again just for the breakfast.

This was a very unique property that had many surprises! While the age of the property was apparent, this added a distinctly Portuguese element to our stay. We were there two nights and I am glad we were. I was not immediately taken with the property but as we explored and became more familiar it's unique charm became known. The food and beverage service and STAFF were OUTSTANDING! The Portuguese know what hospitality and friendliness mean and make guests feel warm and always welcome. The location was very convenient to the charms and waterfront of Lagos and offered access to both tourist and private areas of Lagos. I would definitely stay again!

I stayed here as a solo traveler in Feb 2025 after completing the Fisherman's Trail hike. This hotel is well located right outside the old town area of Lagos, and a short walk to the marina and the city bus terminal. This four star hotel is starting to show signs of its age, but in a very charming and elegant way. The sweeping staircase at the lobby entrance was a nice sight. I didn't use the pool or spa area due to weather, but they looked nice. The bar and common seating areas were great - I especially enjoyed the library and the indoor communal fireplace each evening. Staff could not have been more kind and had the utmost professionalism. The breakfast was very good and had a variety of dishes to choose from. My room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Good wifi and good hot water pressure in the shower. There was a small balcony that was pleasant to sit on in the mornings. I had an excellent stay here. Highly recommended, and I would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful hotel, centrally located and close to everything. We had a beautiful stay and received an extraordinary treatment from all the staff: courteous, professional and kind. Our heartfelt thanks to Maria from the Front Desk and Luis, the Bar Manager: you were lovely and precious and made our stay even more special.

Stayed there for a week for a re-charge battery holiday and really enjoyed the many surprises the resort has. The overall experience was great even finding bad weather during our stay use the health club and also had a massage (which was incredible 5*) to relax and enjoy the holiday. All Staff is nice and welcoming so well done keep it up! Few details In the room missing but great comfy beds. Thanks
