Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort

I’m a Universal pass holder, and Cabana Bay is always my go-to place to stay when visiting Orlando. The location is unbeatable—so close to the parks, especially Volcano Bay, which makes everything super convenient. The pool areas are fantastic with so much to do, from the lazy river and water slide to the hot tubs, all without leaving the resort. On our last trip, my friends and I stayed in a family suite, which was perfect for our group of four. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean and well-maintained, and we loved having the kitchen area for snacks and drinks. We also had a great view of the pool area, which made the stay even better. The dining hall is another highlight—plenty of food options for all meals, and it’s quick and easy, which is great when you’re on the go. The service throughout our stay was excellent, and we always leave Cabana Bay feeling relaxed and recharged. Looking forward to our next stay—it really is the perfect place for a Universal getaway!

Pool was fantastic, especially the one on the side with the lazy river. The lazy river was our favorite. The rooms were constantly cleaned and we had fresh towels every 36-48 hours. Loved that you had a text every few days to remind them someone was available to text questions too. They were quick to respond as well. Food was good. Didn't care for the ice cream shop (flavors were really limited and prices were high for what they had). Staff were amazing.

We had an awesome stay here this weekend! The room was great! Super clean with an excellent view of Volcano Bay which we visited twice while we were here. We enjoyed having the convenience of the waterpark within walking distance and shuttle pickup which was super fast to get to Universal. Definitely 5 stars for the location and a huge shout out and 5 stars to Ellie at the front desk for truly amazing customer service!! Me and my man got our reservation checkout date confused and she was so sweet and helpful so we were luckily able to keep our same room for one more night. We were super pleased with that experience and the whole trip was all around fantastic! We will definitely return soon.

This is truly a hotel that has everything you need for a stay. We got there early and immediately went to one pool that had a waterslide and a beach walk-in. They also had a splash pad there for kids to play it. Later in the day, we walked over to the other pool on the other side of the hotel Where they had a lazy river in that section. At night the pool with the lazy river played a movie, so Nightswimming was got a big upgrade while we were there. That pool also had a food stand close by and a sandy beach like area where people can lay out and tan. Each pool area did have a fire pit and some ping-pong tables. Indoors, cabana Bay has their own bowling alley which I would strongly advise against. They are charging $20 per person to bowl at the hotel. Save your money and go bowling somewhere else. Arcade game, Rama, which got the kids very excited and burned a hole in my pocket really quick. A Starbucks inside which was helpful in the morning, but not helpful at night when we returned from CityWalk. The hotel has a free shuttle that goes to CityWalk as well as epic universe. So from the hotel, you’re able to get to any universal park that you’d like as well as some of the other hotels and attractions near Universal CityWalk. It was a short ride and saved us on parking and traffic so it’s very convenient for our small vacation.

We've stayed at Universal many times and love all the different Resorts they have, but as a family with young kids this is one of the best. They're suits are perfect for family who has young kids who want to watch TV in the morning while Mom and Dad sleep in and have some cereal from The little kitchen area. The cafeteria is perfect for the entire family to cater to everyone with their different eating requirements. They even have a gluten-free section. The two pools, Lazy River and fire pits are absolutely perfect for just relaxing at the resort. I love the theme parks but honestly if you're going you might as well booked a few extra days just to sit back and enjoy the resort itself. Highly recommend
