We were guests Thanksgiving week. My husband and I celebrated our 10 yr wedding anniversary by renewing our vows. It was so beautiful. The staff did everything possible to make our day special..and our week. The activities are any to choose from. The restaurants accommodated every palate and the over all comfort was everything. For that week, it felt like paradise. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. Everything was gorgeous, impeccable, first class. Food was exceptional. And even though it was high season and we heard that the resort was nearly 90% occupied, nothing ever really felt very crowded. Relaxed pace. Peaceful. Calming. Only things we would have changed would have been warmer swimming pool water, if possible. And lower the mix volume on the drummer in the courtyard band in the evenings. He was constantly overpowering everyone else and he should have been turned way down. Terrific staff. Extremely well-maintained property. Delicious meals! Thanks!

Best vacation ever! We visited the Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya to celebrate our anniversary and a friend's birthday. It was the perfect place to just disconnect from reality for six days and five nights. And it's so nice when a resort staff knows what they're doing. Every little detail was cared for and followed--from a true "all-inclusive" experience to the staff being punctual when scheduling something. The pools were excellent. We loved the adults-only aspect of the resort, which was so lovely (no kids allowed, thankfully). The food at every restaurant was amazing: Breakfast at the buffet, food truck for lunch, and formal dining in the evening. Even the smell of the lobby was alluring. I loved just sitting in there and just taking in the essence of it all.
All in all, this was the perfect resort for spending time with friends and my wife. Even better was the price: all-in with a deluxe suite, we paid around $2,300. It was worth every penny!

We spent 6 days here with a group of friends (total of 6 people). We've been to quite a few high-end, boutique resorts in the past and this really surprised us with how good it was for the price. The food variety was fun and very very good. Generally speaking, the service/wait staff were also very skilled. The activities and atmosphere in the main pool was incredibly fun and this made our trip worthwhile! We aren't "party" people but there were endless options and activities going on at the pool throughout the week. Sonia in the main pool bar was Trouble, in the best way! She really makes sure you have a FUN time. Daniel, Israel, Isabel, etc. were so great with the daily activities in the pool. Never did I think we'd be playing water polo, pool-biking, etc. but they made it incredibly fun. The staff really do a wonderful job of involving guests and they are working hard to make sure everyone has a fun time! I think we spent 80% of our time there just at the pool and were endlessly entertained. Our only "negatives" were pretty minor - room service in the evenings took 45+ minutes and came cold, the massage at the spa was decent but really not worth the high price, pool towels were extremely hard to come by, and we waited 1.5 hours to check in (a big bummer when you're stuck in the lobby and the sun is starting to set!). One thing they are really lacking is a heated pool or hot tub of any kind on the resort. The water was fine once you were in for a while, but it really was cold in December! Lastly, the beach was pretty sub-par. We learned that some harsh storms recently washed away most of the beach, so it's very small and rocky now. All of the negatives weren't a big deal for us, so overall we'd go back!

Beach was nice with no algae, but had large rocks. Wear water shoes or just stay in the Pool.
Pool was awesome.
Service was fantastic. Lucy was the best drink getter at the pool. Manuel was right behind her. The others were nice, but not as efficient.
Breakfast buffet was a very big let-down. Not good food. They need a chef cooking omelets and breakfast burritos. Or just a better chef in the back. The food was bland and forgettable. Looking around, every table was disappointed.
Lunch Trucks were good if you get the steak tacos or chicken nachos. Don't waste time on a burger or chicken tacos.
Dinners were really good if you made the right selections. Mexican Pizza at Italian restaurant was excellent. French food escargot stuffed mushrooms were delicious. Mexican food restaurant El Hacienda was a HUGE letdown. It was bland and not even close to good. We were all very disappointed by this since we were in Mexico.
Hotel staff and grounds were very nice.
Spa- get Rubi and Suzy. They were the best for sure.
