The Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi is a luxury paradise with breathtaking villas, surrounded by crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches.
The service is unmatched, with personal concierges catering to your every need. Our concierge was Marica, and no words can truly describe how amazing she was! We were incredibly happy with her. She went above and beyond to make our holiday unforgettable. We would like to thank her again for her friendliness and outstanding service.
The resort offers top-tier restaurants, and the food was delicious (for the restaurants we were able to try). The breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had, with plenty of options, including a wide selection of halal and non-halal dishes.
However, there were a few things we found less ideal:
• The yacht transfer (shared) was quite expensive.
• Most of the restaurants were fully booked for the days we were there.
Overall, the resort is perfect for those seeking ultimate relaxation and exclusivity.

I like the hotel, big villas, good location. Nice boat from the airport, easy to get to. What I didn’t like is that the breakfast finishes at 10.30am sharp!!! and if you late even 5 minutes, they start cleaning everything super fast in front of you, which is not relaxing and very noisy. Such strict timing, very disturbing when you are on vacation- you want to relax and not being rushed.
Big Island, 3.5 km long. Many restaurants, I personally liked Chinese Lilong the most because of its ambiance , outdoor seating and lovely music.
Terra is nice but wasn’t really worth 1500$ for dinner for two..
Zuma is also nice but no outdoor area for seating.
Overall a lovely resort (it’s my 21st time in the Maldives, so I can compare to many other hotels)
But not sure if it’s worth 3-4K a night..

My girlfriend and I go to tropical destinations every year, we call them our honeymoons. Ithaafushi was the greatest honeymoon we've ever had. The location can't be beat, you can snorkel from your villa's deck to reefs just yards away. The resort staff did a great job making everyone feel like a VIP. The villa's themselves are beyond luxurious, the infinity pool being the highlight of the villa. It's the best honeymoon that money can buy.

One standout aspect of our stay was the impeccable service provided by Miss Hazuki. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. Her dedication was especially evident when she facilitated a reunion with our son, who had arrived at the resort two weeks before us. Her efforts in coordinating this reunion and ensuring everything went smoothly were deeply appreciated.
The resort offered a plethora of activities and experiences that catered to both relaxation and adventure. Whether we were lounging by the crystal-clear waters, indulging in gourmet meals, or exploring the underwater wonders, every moment was magical.
