The hotel is very beautiful spacious with nice view and decorations. The staff is extremely polite and the animation is also good. We had a nice surprise for our wedding and birthday celebratiions Beach is great and snorkeling is fun even if the stream is pretty heavy and just for good swimmers. I give a 4 start judgment because of the effort of staff to help us however I feel that this is not a 4 start superior hotel and very family oriented so if you search for relax during meals better search for hotel for couples only

We had a few issues on arrival but these were eventually overcome through the actions of Keertisha and Nishad who went above and beyond to rectify the issue and also attached a few things, chocolate, fizz, t-shirt and a sarong for my wife and a late check out. There are three great pools, although we didn't use the main one by the reception. Very little bed hogging. Drinks are a little disappointing as basic brand rum was really.poor which on an island that produces it's own rum undermines the whole quality of the hotel. The food options are limited but they're is plenty of choice, it's good tasty food and there is the burger van and afternoon tea to supplement. The sea is full of fish very close to the shore but it does have a bit of an undercurrent. You can see loads of fish right near the beach beside the two areas of boulders. It's still nice to go into the sea bit I would recommend everything near the pier where there is a large open sandy area. Rooms try to be 5 star but are a little dated. The TV service is limited but then you're in Mauritius why would you need the TV 😀. There are half bottom boat and snorkel trips free of charge but book early. For wider excursions I would book early and be careful to record what you want to see if included and whether there is any flexibility if the weather doesn't work for you. Overall this isn't a top hotel in Mauritius but for what you are paying it is more than adequate. The staff with a very few recordings are outstandingly friendly, attentive and excellent

Stayed there for 3 days - Friend's wedding. It was absolutely beautiful. Clean and serene environment, excellent rooms - beachfront and decent array of food. Particularly loved the water activities - boat rides, kayaking and all. A shame it was a short visit. Service could be better.

Beautiful hotel complex in the south, where the individual rooms are distributed in smaller houses around pools. There is free parking in the fenced and guarded area. The rooms are relatively large, clean and have a refrigerator. If you choose half board, you get it in buffet form and have a price advantage of around 25% compared to paying directly in the restaurant. However, there are clear problems in managing the in-house offers such as sports and boat activities. The times given for fitness courses were not adhered to at all. The courses did not take place and the fitness coach was not even on site. Very annoying, because as a hotel guest you were asked to register for the relevant courses in advance and to arrive on time. When we asked, the staff at reception pretended to be ignorant and showed no willingness to deal with the problem. The tour with the glass-bottom boat (offered by the hotel, only 16 people per tour) was canceled due to weather... it can happen. Unfortunately, the tour participants are not informed of this before the appointment. Annoying… we could have used the day differently.

In general it's a nice hotel. Very quiet and peaceful location. Rooms were clean and well lit . Food during the 3 three meals were excellent. A large variety of dishes for all tastes. Bar, pool and restaurant were all very close so no long walks when moving from one place to another. Burger truck served very good burgers. Staff is nice and friendly. Kid friendly. Very good place to relax. Things we didn't quite like: 1. No one at the door to welcome guests. Had to go inside (reception desk) to inform of our arrival. 2. No shampoo in room except for a soap which apparently is meant for hand, body and hair washing. Had to ask for shampoo at reception. 3. Tea time is not worth at all. Snack selection not very good and warm milk to make tea. Had to go to room to make hot tea :( Yet, in general we liked our stay. We asked for late checkout and our request was accepted.

The service is really bad and super slow. You have to chase the staff multiple times for even a little update. The staff is not available at their counters most times. WiFi is very slow. Hotels rooms are huge but full of mosquitoes. They promise ocean view and give you the grass view instead. For water activities, they did not coordinate well and were very rude. The staff is neither helpful, nor coordinates properly and speaks rudely on the top of it. If you want to ruin your vacation, book OUTRIGGER!

The staff really make this resort a pleasure to stay at. They are all polite and friendly, aways smiling, Had a small issue with a lock on the door. The manager came out straight away to get it fixed, even rang later to check we were OK. Rooms are cleaned every day and stocked with fresh bottled water. Grounds are well kept. The food in the Mercado restaurant is great with a very wide range of choices, again the staff are brilliant even making special meals on request.

Outrigger Mauritius Beach Resort is definitely an amazing place to unwind ans enjoy a relaxed holiday. The Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Staff is very humble and attentive. Service is good. My only big disappointment is Food. Very few Indian dishes that too lacked taste.

Beautiful resort with stunning views. The service is very friendly and quick. Fresh water bottles are delivered multiple times per day to your room and the rooms made with cute towel art and flowers. The check in and out was warm and friendly. The food options are good if you are able to access the various restaurants at the resort. We had club access at the Plantation but it is too quiet there and the afternoon tea was not what I expected and that was a bit disappointing. Many of the desserts served I felt had too much gelatin in it so that can be improved upon. The Le Bleu beach bar is great for pool side and on the beach drinks and lunch. There is some need for upgrade, there are a few areas needing maintenance, like the Navasana spa pool and water features, as well as the jets in the main pool. But overall its a beautiful resort and I would go again.

Great hotel with unbelievable friendly service. I can only recommend it. Indian Restaurant: Superbly well organized and very delicous food. Infinity Blue restaurant and bar is nevertheless my personal favorite. Nice room. See the Pic attached. Many things to to in the region surrounding it. 7colors, Grand Basin etc. Go for it!

Infinity Blue Down at the Awali Hotel has been an absolute highlight of our stay! The views are breathtaking, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. But what truly makes this restaurant stand out is Elianne, who works there with such genuine warmth and attentiveness. She truly made our dining experience extra special with her friendly service and delightful personality. We highly recommend Infinity Blue, and we will definitely be back!

I have just returned from 12 nights at the Heritage Awali on an All Inclusive basis The food was fantastic - our favourite was the beach club. The drinks were fantastic with such a wide variety of cocktails (and for the kids they would make any non alcoholic which they loved). The hotel itself was beautiful with lots to offer and a wonderful beach front setting. The rooms were a very good size, clean with a good balcony. The bath was huge. A couple of fixtures were broken though which was a slight disappointment. The water sports were fantastic, we loved trying them all. The staff were all incredibly lovely and helpful, the only downside was the service could be very slow - we would often we waiting very long times for drinks and food, sometimes missing items and it would take ages to get sorted. The beach club is fantastic - the only let down here is that you cannot just get drinks. So if you want to go chill there for a day/do the water sports, you would have to pay for the drinks. But yet you can sit and have a meal with plenty of drinks and that would be included. It would be nice for at least soft drinks to be available whilst down there.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality, making us feel at home. The staff, the room, the food everything were perfect. Lovely location.We went to this resort for the golf and promised yoga. Golf was excellent, (free) yoga was for one session on a Saturday. When booking through agent we have asked for a combined golf and yoga experience ( second time this year we have experienced this unreliable information). Food at restaurants under AI package is a hit or miss. Best food we ate was at the Indian Zafarani. Infinity Blue was disappointing. We ate most days after the golf at the Heritage golf house-a lovely setting. You could eat here in the evening but was not part of the AI package we selected. Also ate at the Beach club, limited menu, but positive. You would think the seafood selection for an island in the Indian ocean would be good, but only had one positive experience for this menu choice. Room was good and the bars around the resort were all good. My main gripe with the resort aside from the poor seafood option was the music, just too loud especially of an evening. Resort is a wedding venue, so expect a noisy Saturday evening, we complained but made no difference to volume, ( I asked were we the only complainers but informed we were not) The Seven Colours Spa is worth a visit and you get a complimentary massage as part of your AI package, again a lovely setting which seemed under used, so not too crowded. We had some treatments on our last day which were excellent. We arrived early and left late on last day and you could use your AI package after checking out at noon, this is a big positive. Staff are friendly and courteous. I would recommend for a golf location

My stay at SO Sofitel Hotel and Spa was fantastic! The hotel’s stunning design and luxurious amenities made for a perfect getaway. A special thanks to Mr. Raj, whose exceptional service truly enhanced our experience. The highlight for my family was the amazing kids’ club; my children had a blast with engaging activities and attentive staff, allowing us some much-appreciated relaxation time. Dining was a delight, and the spa treatments were rejuvenating. Overall, SO Sofitel exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend it for families looking for luxury and fun!

The staff were lovely. The food was very good. The scenery was beautiful but the bedrooms are tired and dated. The outside bath no longer looks good and it is not private as advertised as there is a path opposite. Fortunately the shower was hot and the bed very comfortable. This place needs a great deal of money spent on it to make this 5*. The plastic sheeting as a wind protection in La Plage needs to go and bifold doors or patio doors or see through roller blinds,as many people thought it to be old and tired. This actually spoilt any view. I'm afraid I wouldn't return as it doesn't compare to other 5* hotels I've stayed in. All the other guests, as well as myself couldn't understand the silly green bed surrounds. They prevent you getting into bed as they move. They need to go and replaced with bedside tables. That would help the appearance of the bedrooms as nobody likes them. All the other guests that I spoke to said they were upset at the lack of interesting entertainment. The lack of a dance floor. Nobody wanted a disco. Many guests said they felt the photos advertised showed the resort in the best possible light. The swimming pool is a joke. Three people in there is too many. The staff, the bed, the shower, the scenery , and the food were a saving grace. I think if this wasn't the case you would have had a number of complaints. I have been completely honest. Please remove the silly bed surrounds and put bedside tables. This was a talking point with all the other guests I spoke to. I have been totally honest and feel upset to be so frank when all the staff and management were super helpful,professional and kind.

Astonishing experience. Would highly recommend if you were looking for a calm and relaxing experience. Spa wasn’t that expensive. Staff very welcoming and helpful. The buffet has a plethora of options. Activities include are very cool at no extra cost. We did pedalo, boat tour and canoeing.

Telfair is one of my absolute favorite luxury hotels. Stunningly beautiful premises, pools and beachfront. Adrien is an excellent, gracious resident host, very friendly and helpful -- PS. He'd make a great hotel manager! The hotel organized cute little extras for a birthday celebration. And our room was gorgeous! I wasn't blown away by the food at most of the restaurants but C Beach had lovely food overall.

A very nice resort in Mauritius, the location and swimming pool as well as the activity areas. We have tried the wellness spa (couple massage), we considered it as average in means of price and quality of massage (pressure) in comparison with same treatment and services available in gulf countries. The worst part in this resort is the presence of lot of cats in the restaurants especially for those who are zoo phobic. The staff are mostly not friendly at all except Mr. Josh who kept in asking us during our stay to ensure that everything is fine and he treated us in a best way 🙏🏼🤍

The Guest relation team was very helpful- Adarsh and Pritesh. A nice villa with a stunning sea view. The villa was fully equipped. Bath amenities and kitchen amenities were provided upon arrival. All facilities were available at the villa. We have enjoyed driving the club car from the villa to the outlets and other facilities on the Domaine. The Shuttle van to the C beach restaurant was a nice ride specially at night. The Driver was very courteous-Naweed. Housekeeping services is provided during the stay.

We love the resort, amazing staff everything is oriented. Positive items: Great welcoming staff, Variety of facility/activities to do: Cycling, tennis, golf, snorkeling, kit surf, quad, hiking,… Issues: 1- The best Dinner restaurants were fully booked!! Which is disappointing really as didn’t have the chance to try them. 2- No diving center their 3- we didn’t like C beach club restaurant morning staff 4- No Arabic Shower 5- we don’t like Savana restaurant (we went their because it was the only one available for dinner)

Stay away from this incompetence of people. After my booking was confirmed, the hotel manager suddenly demanded three times the price a few days laters and threatened to cancel if I don't accept the tripple price. All 7 family members had already booked flights etc. It's an outrage to suddenly charge three times the price. No one answered to my messages and no accommodation from the hotel.
