I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are going to Mauritius. The service if first class and the facilities are excellent. Vicky the manager is extremely helpful and makes you feel welcome and comfortable from the minute you get there. His staff are always there whenever you need anything. All of the food within the hotel is great. There is a nice mix and plenty to choose from. Nicolas and his team behind the bar are also fantastic and they look after you from the moment you arrive to when you leave. I would highly recommend the hotel and I will definitely go back again in the future.

Rooms were well laid out with all the facilities you need on holiday. Our deluxe sea view room had an amazing view over the reef. The room was very clean and well maintained and stocked daily. The staff were friendly and generally helpful. Food was generally very good, fresh, something for everyone and plentiful.

We have two small children and this meant the Awali was a great choice for us. Lovely beach, huge family pool and both a kids and baby club, Timono, with kind attentive staff happy to take your little ones for a few hours.
When one was sick, having a doctor on site was wonderful and they then called a specialist in who arrived within a couple of hours.
The spa was wonderful. Our room was very spacious and right on the beach (albeit the decor was a little tired) and service was generally good with a few exceptions (and always friendly). It was hard to eat with our children anywhere other than the main buffet restaurant given opening times. You must book in advance for others as many were full when we arrived (I would encourage guests to also eat at the Telfair sister restaurant).
