The hotel is in need of a makeover, the beach towels and sun loungers need replacing. The pool areas need a good clean.
When we arrived we didn’t get offered a welcome drink, everyone else did! If you have not booked the restaurants or the golf in advance you will be very disappointed. We where told the restaurants where fully booked for the first two nights of our stay, we had to eat in the buffet style restaurant which was very limited, the staff told us we should have booked in advance, it would have been nice to have this info before we arrived, why would you book a restaurant in advance when you don’t know what it is going to be like before you get there or what you fancy to eat!
The golf course is good but expect a very slow round and don’t expect to be able to take your non playing partner with you as they don’t allow this. Only good for groups of golfers.
Such a shame as the hotel is in a fabulous location and could so much better

We were recommended by family friends to visit Heritage Awali and we would highly recommended it to anyone! It exceeded our expectations. We went for our honeymoon and the resort had a warm and inviting atmosphere, the people were AMAZING, there was a lot of great food options and the cocktails were made really well. We are so happy with our decision. I would recommend doing the all-inclusive package. We look forward to returning one day!

Rooms were well laid out with all the facilities you need on holiday. Our deluxe sea view room had an amazing view over the reef. The room was very clean and well maintained and stocked daily. The staff were friendly and generally helpful. Food was generally very good, fresh, something for everyone and plentiful.

I have just returned from 12 nights at the Heritage Awali on an All Inclusive basis
The food was fantastic - our favourite was the beach club.
The drinks were fantastic with such a wide variety of cocktails (and for the kids they would make any non alcoholic which they loved).
The hotel itself was beautiful with lots to offer and a wonderful beach front setting.
The rooms were a very good size, clean with a good balcony. The bath was huge. A couple of fixtures were broken though which was a slight disappointment.
The water sports were fantastic, we loved trying them all.
The staff were all incredibly lovely and helpful, the only downside was the service could be very slow - we would often we waiting very long times for drinks and food, sometimes missing items and it would take ages to get sorted.
The beach club is fantastic - the only let down here is that you cannot just get drinks. So if you want to go chill there for a day/do the water sports, you would have to pay for the drinks. But yet you can sit and have a meal with plenty of drinks and that would be included. It would be nice for at least soft drinks to be available whilst down there.
